Pre-empted Warning!

As was predicted a lot of iffy casinos have opened lately, LuckNetwork.com is yet another IMHO. Deposits are via CC, Switch, Solo, Maestro and Bank Wire.

Withdrawals are only available via Wire and command these terms:
A maximum of 5000 will be sent per week, all balances will be sent the following week(s).

Although this one does not accept USA players, it's T&C's are shocking especially this one:

XXXhttp://www.luckynetwork.com/inside.asp?pID=234

16. If you are found to be cheating or attempting to defraud the games or if you make untrue and/or malicious comments with regard to the Company's operation, the Company reserves the right to publicize your actions together with your identity and e-mail address as well as to circulate this information to other casinos, banks, credit card companies and appropriate agencies.

Further up the page there are these:

12. If you do not log onto your Casino account for a period of 180 days, any balance in your account will be forfeited to the Company.

And this among others:

5. The games are for entertainment value only. No purchase is necessary or required to play the games. You may play without betting money if you wish. Any participation in the games is at your sole option, discretion and risk. By playing the games, you acknowledge that you do not find the games or the Casino to be offensive, objectionable, unfair or indecent.

"By playing the games, you acknowledge that you do not find the games or the Casino to be offensive, objectionable, unfair or indecent"

Obviously these concern me. What really bothers me is clause 12 especially when combined with clause 5 and the aforementioned extract. Which I read that even if you have proof that a game is dodgy; the casino is dodgy or anything that brings such matters to light, the casino will make your life hell if you blow the whistle!

LuckyNetwork.com is also directly connected to luckylottoticket.com (web site reports update in progress) which is operating on an IP out of Joburg SA.

As an affiliate though, if they are going to treat players like this then how do you think they will treat an affiliate who promotes them.

Cheers

I've read those exact terms and conditions somewhere else too but I cannot remember right now exactly where it was. There is another thread or post on here somewhere within the last month or two that has those T's & C's listed in it.

Check out www.articlechecker.com and you can throw in any text or URL for it to check, and it'll come back with all kinds of results from the text/paragraphs on that page. Here's the URL for luckynetwork's T&C page.

I don't think you would want to play there with this statement...

We may use customer contact information from the registration form to send you information and notifications. Unique identifiers (such as ID numbers or passport numbers) are collected to verify your identity and linked to your unique account number. No information will be sold, given nor in any way transmitted to any external entity, person or other business outside our corporation.

Yea right on that one..

I was discussing this with my partner today. She says "why worry about it you can't change anything that they do"...

I went on to explained that whatever dodgy place opens that operates in this manner indirectly affects affiliates like myself. Because it's just another operation that is clearly out to screw players.

That must have joined the dots for her because she then said why not start a site that inform people of these places. I laughed...it's already happened babe, that's what CM's is all about. However some places just fall through the cracks.

Anyway my take on this and places like this as is as an affiliate I have a responsibility towards my visitors. I don't think most players see things like we do. My partners response is in most parts a common opinion.

We all know the combine affect we can leverage when we all stick together and look out for all our interests.

Ultimately I'd like to see us form some type of alliance, where by we all have a page on our sites that warn players of these new sites that are opening that are iffy at best.

We need to protect the industry and in doing so we can protect our number one asset, that being our gambling visitors.

I'd sure appreciate hearing your thoughts on this.

There's another thread around here somewhere (started by Trezz) which highlights a few more unsavoury facts about this operation's T&Cs.

And the software in use is not well known.

Treat with great caution.

Unfortunately, this is a common term that is in many, many casino's terms and conditions. Google search on "or if you make untrue and/or malicious comments" yields no less than 522 results.

Doloplex? I thought this was the defunct Warren Cloud company.

As for the funky terms and conditions, they are like some viral disease. I remember eCOGRA taking a stand on the the Company reserves the right to publicize your actions together with your identity and e-mail address as well as to circulate this information to other casinos, banks, credit card companies and appropriate agencies. term with Vegas Partners some years ago. And as far as I remember, it was modified to say something else.

On the other hand, how often has this term been exercised to the fullest? In ten years, I have yet to see a reputable casino publicize a fraudster's personal information in public. I think these are just used as scare tactics.

The doloplex thing is odd though.

Well actually you can.
I e-mailed them yesterday pointing out their no-deposit welcome bonus would be a gold mine for 'bonus abusers' - within 24hrs they changed the T&C's to close the loop-hole and sent a 'thank you' e-mail back.

I know no more about the people behind this than anyone else, but I get the impression they are striving to be fair & honest, but just that they have very little experience in online casinos. They are obviously brand new - let's give them a chance to prove themselves (or not) before we chastise them too much, eh?

Just don't cheat. :p

The words (malicious comments) should definitely not be in those T's & C's though since that's a huge problem and a predatory term for the simple reason that what they are saying there is basically if you say anything negative about the casino they have the right to follow thru with the threat relayed in this term and the word (malicious) in reality means no more than (harboring ill will or enmity).

That is one term that they need to remove immediately from those terms and conditions as it has absolutely nothing at all to do with cheating or being a fraud.

Turn right, then right. then right again
Its a shame about those terms, as the slots are really really good.

Nice software and bonus rounds, but the download of games is a little slow.

Would be interested to see if anyone gets paid as the only option seems to be bank transfer at present.

Could not agree with you more.

Even some of the more reputable onlines have all 3 of the terms that Trezz posts. SlotoCash has or had possibly, all 3 on their website (which I have as screenshots ftr from 8-15-08). Although Sloto's TandC's et al are by far the best imo of the group of casinos that use the same software, their TandC's and lobby still have multiple inaccurate statements, unfair and unethical terms, and contradictions. I will leave that for a "untrue and/or malicious" post or thread perhaps. If some would read just the first 3 pages of Beat The Players they might have a better understanding of why these casinos are out of order as indirectly opined in the next few paragraphs (as I often paraphrase and/or quote the highly successful attorney and author Bob Nersesian) below.

"There are rights and protections, and choosing to gamble does not strip a person of these rights" so the master of your own domain, do not play, because Bozo (ftr, not directed at anyone specifically) said so, etc. have always been unacceptable to moi . "These rights and protections, as with all intangible concepts, are in a state of flux and always will be." Through the TandC's and multiple other methods, what allows any casino to believe that it is privileged. The player/patron regardless of status must insist on and pursue his rights. Oh, shame on me, management's word is final.

"Absent such....," "the fluctations" in your rights "will ebb towards absolute" (the irony and foreshadowing as in "POKER" and "SLOTS") "casino power and may eventually cascade in that direction".

If such "then another truism about human nature will raise its ugly head. ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY."

Only for the record:

Seems you can change things!

They have been reading this thread and have amended the 3 rules mentioned in your opening post.

Blue = terms as they were, Black = what they say now:
16. If you are found to be cheating or attempting to defraud the games, or if you make untrue and/or unfounded comments or allegations that may be deemed to be damaging with regard to the Company's operation and/or its reputation, and the Company can openly disprove such comments or allegations, the Company reserves the right to publicize your actions together with your identity and e-mail address within the public domain, and to seek any legal recourse available to it in order to vindicate itself against such damage as it deems has been inflicted.

12. If you do not log onto your Casino account for a period of 180 days, any balance in your account will be forfeited to the Company.
12. If you do not log onto your Casino account for a period of 180 days, and do not respond to any subsequent communication from the company in this regard, any balance in your account may be forfeited to the Company, and your account may be de-activated.

They may not be perfect - but they are listening!

I really don't think they'll have any credibility unless they come forward with who they actually are, and explain their relationship with "Doleplex Trading Limited."
