Lucky Nugget casino 'migrating' to Spin casino (who?) due to new regulations

I logged into my Lucky Nugget casino account to find they will no longer be operating in the UK due to the new taxation regulations (bl**dy government again !). They are offering a 'migration' to 'Spin casino' (I presume they have cut a deal for the account base). The trouble is spin palace is apparently a brand new casino and I cannot find any mention or a link to them on google - but I notice that their logo is identical to the 'spin palace' casino - so presume they have set it up to see how many of the lucky nugget accounts come across to them.

I see references to Spin Palace casino in the forums - but not a mention of them in either accredited or rogue casinos - can anyone spread any light on them?

When I played on Lucky Nugget is was mainly to play on the big freeroll tournaments (the ones with the Euro5000 to Euro20000 prize funds - I think it unlikely they will be on the Spin casino , so it looks like I will lose my main source of entertainment shortly unless someone steps in to fill the gap - would be good if 32red were to do it as it is also a microgaming casino!

They seem to have done their best to confuse players about Spin Casino and Spin Palace. Spin is so new it doesn't get a proper hit on Google, but the name is so close that Google tries to convince you that it's Spin Palace you are after.

I found and installed Spin Casino a while ago, and am awaiting the migration. None of the casinos concerned can be arsed to tell the players what is happening, and only the day before yesterday I got a regular 30% offer from Royal Vegas, which I knew to be Digimedia and leaving the UK before today.

It looks like they hung on to the bitter end, and set up the migrations to trigger today, but didn't consider it worth letting the players know. If you still had money or other things of value in the old account, and no information prior to being locked out and migrated, how would you know you hadn't been ripped off in the process? Worse, if you then loaded up Spin casino, and for an innocent technical reason nothing had carried over, you would then be convinced that you had been ripped off "with intent", with the new UK regulations simply being a convenient excuse.

Now of course, the regulations have been delayed for a month, but it seems the migration went ahead as planned.

It looks like my Spin Casino might now have some migrated accounts in it. I didn't have anything of value left around to get lost though, I cleaned out the Digimedia accounts in mid July and haven't deposited since because the date may have been unknown, the outcome was inevitable.

My Riverbelle and other Belle Rock casino accounts all 'migrated' to Spin Casino yesterday - I will miss playing on them , never had a complaint in two years.

Spin casino have already sent me 'junk' mail to my email address (which I do not mind), but also to my mobile (which I hate). They are offering a £250 match on the first deposit - anyone used that yet ? - the link to terms and conditions does not work on the email so I cannot see what is involved.

Spin Palace group and Betway group used to be joined together until October last year - then Betway and Gnuf (now closed) Casinos were split out to a separate program.
It's fairly obvious IMO that the still have the same owners though.

It's also obvious to me that Betway have set up Spin Casino as a sort of "skin" of Betway so that players can have accounts at both their casinos, rather than just merging them all into one. (Two accounts = double the potential income).

This group does have a "chequered history", especially in the Affiliate community (ask Webzcas!), so it will be interesting to see how this pans out in the next few months...

I believe Fortune Lounge ( I play at Platinum Play from time to time) are also migrating accounts to this 'Spin' casino, not happened to me yet tho, think its because they decided to hang on to the 'bitter end' after the UK law change delay.

Saying that tho all my others are long gone, all Digimedia accounts (Jackpot City, Lucky Nugget Gaming Club) totally gone no migrations, Palace Group (Spin Palace, Ruby Fortune) Totally gone no migrations, Vegas Partner Lounge (Cinema, River Nile, Golden Riviera) - Migrated to casino UK, then they had a further change of mind and migrated these to the 'minimum £50 for a bonus' (wonderful for small players) Roxy Palace / Splendido set up (great )

If I had to sum all these 'goings on' up I'd refer to it as a 'total mess' and that's being polite.

It would really help if these casinos could give us decent info into what's happening, then again they prob's don't know themselves yet.

FootNote: - A large portion of casinos who are leaving the UK market are suggesting players move to Betway 'their preferred partner site' - This is not a PAB or anything close but a friendly warning as an experienced slot player it is clear to me (despite ecogra etc) their slots are on the 'lowest legal RTP' and this is backed up as I've been through about 10-12 of my various accounts checking deposits Vs withdrawals and with 'luck' out of the equation, the Betway account has the lowest return by a massive margain in comparison to the others (all MG) their customer service is also very poor, promise of looking into things (I had a problem with my paytable achievements on TSII and IR which cost me £100's to turn 'gold') and after a month still not sorted - Not saying anything serious but if you had shared my Betway experiences, especially game play, you'd be in total agreement

I got the email, but when I try to log in it bounces me to the page to create a new account. If I then click "already have an account" it just infinitely loops me.

It looks like the email is slightly premature, it's "happening", rather than having "already happened".

No. i loaded allslots (viper), which then opened a window saying about UKGC, with a button to click, to transfer my account. clicked that and it showed my username and password, but said my username was already taken, and offered me a list of alternatives. I selected one, it closed allslots and downloaded spin casino.

My details and loyalty points were transferred, but no game data (TSII, IR, JP etc achievements) unlike the gowild transfer to 32Red.
Which means everything will have to be started from scratch again. Which is a pain if you've done the 25 bonus rounds on JP, to gain the choice of bonus etc

I already have Spin casino downloaded because this was supposed to have happened last month, but it didn't.

I got rid of All Slots in July because of all the deliberate jerking around and secrecy regarding what was going to happen and when. I decided I would not play again until it was all over, which would appear to be from today onwards.

It was only a matter of days ago that the casinos involved were still sending me offers for deposits, tournaments, etc. Not the slightest hint of any change until the day it happened, which is the very "jerking around" that I was seeing earlier, and fully expecting this time around, hence I just wasn't even playing at All Slots or any of the other FL/Digimedia sites.

I see an even bigger mess coming, because I could end up with a DOZEN accounts at Spin Casino, all of which appear to be eligible for the 3 stage bonus offer.

It would probably be easier to just forget it, or even just register a brand new account at Spin casino after getting CS to go through the mess and close down every single malfunctioning migrated account.

My experience with spin palace in the last few months made me close my account the promotions say one wagering and they give you another
incompetent live chat who cant even get the start amounts right always double check with live support before you claim any promotion with them
i even got accused of agreeing with the wrong amount or wager when i told the chat rep it was wrong but my last chat log proved to them that i informed them

Tried that, and it would not go past the form. I then went back to see if it had made any difference on Spin Casino, and it hadn't.

I have now scheduled both Spin and Betway for removal during the next PC clean up cycle. This may be soon as it seems my MGS clients have again reached the stage of corruption due to the numerous updates that have accumulated since the last install. They are randomly opening not in the lobby, but in the cashier, the news pages, loyalty pages, even random games that I have played in past sessions and CLOSED PROPERLY.

It's possible that my Spin client is corrupt also, and isn't letting me log in with the migrated accounts.

I somewhat agree there, there still connected in some way or the other, Spin palace was no dout opened up to take the remainder of the accounts betway did not want, Alot of shit going on behind them closed doors and would be good to let out a few secrets just so people no whats a head, But my guess is that I do not think they have a clue them selfs, I do no that its going to take months to sort out and settle down

I was told all UK players at all those brands would be migrated to Betway Casino (NOT Spin Casino).
