Turn right, then right. then right again
I just received this via email.

I found it disgusting and very unsettling.

Hi *******,

Login now and win big with the current balance on your account!

Here is your step-by-step guide to help you win:

Enter any slot game
If the error message "Insufficient Funds" opens up, click on CANCEL
Decrease the bet amount by adjusting it directly underneath the game
Choose how many paylines you want to play by clicking on the number next to the lines
Click on SPIN to not miss out on your chance to WIN!

Does anyone else find this a very sleazy form of marketing?

Received this from numerous RTG casinos. Just a gimmick to sign on to the casino and make a deposit. Yes, I do find this sleazy, however I did turn an .80 cent balance into a $175.00 withdrawal one time.

Fair call.

I just thought the suggestion that you can solve your financial woes by playing in their casino is really shifty...and certainly goes against the CM philosophy.

The balance I had was .17c

I agree, thought gambling was for entertainment purposes :what:

I don't find the email disgusting more sh*tty than anything else... You could win BIG with just three cents lol!

Yeh, I don't like the way its worded and I would too be pretty disgusted to receive that kind of email from a casino. It is widely stated EVERYWHERE that gambling should only be considered as entertainment and not income, so although they have not suggested you deposit, they are still suggesting that gambling is a way to pay bills. I don't like it - totally agree.

but really is it much different than any casino that offers incentives (prizes, cash, trips, rewards) for MOST STAKED, tournies for most buy-ins, cars for biggest wagerers; honestly, if it were JUST for entertainment purposes we wouldn't need a withdraw button...we all hope to win, not play and have fun, or we'd play in fun mode for free..anyone that deposits is hoping to cash out, be it to buy things or pay bills

They have been doing this for over a year. Grande Vegas of the same group also does the same. You are right and I do find this quite nauseating.

So much month left? - 4 days , tbh this is right out of the CR book of *How to entice those not the sharpest tool in the box sort of people* spam, the least they could have done was remind you how much cash you still had in your account.

"To much month left at the end of the money?, then pawn everything you own and sell the kids on E-Bay, and take our fck the bills reload bonus".

My niece is a brat? How much do you think I'd get for her?

Remember a few years back there was one of the Microgaming casino groups that had some 'testimonial' letters that were like that.

"I was facing foreclosure and had no food for my children and I was depressed because my husband died and I lost my job so I decided to play the last money in the house to get my mind off all my troubles...." or "I had enough to pay the rent but not enough left over to play, but I decided to play instead..."

I can't really remember offhand what exactly they said, but they were along those lines. THOSE ones I found really offensive.
