Been thinking about this for a while now and finally decided to take the 'risk' in being ridiculed or maybe the opposite....you never know...:p

For low rollers who have a limited gaming budget I feel we are never going to get a taste of the 'VIP status' but as they say 'Small fish are sweet'

Now I totally appreciate casinos cannot send out a Ferrari once a month or send me on a World Wide Cruise, however how about a low roller VIP system for those who play regular enough to build up a good relationship with the casinos but cannot afford to spend thousands

May need some 'tweaking' but here's a few thoughts to maybe talk about.....

Criteria to be eligible - A player who has deposited (and played thru) a minimum of £40-£50 a week at the same casino for say at least 8 weeks (and continues to do so will stay 'low roller VIP') (Regardless of Win/Losses)

    Rewards could include:-

    * A copy of one of the latest DVD films / boxsets
    * Tickets to Event (obs not OTT)
    * Wager free / low wagering Free spins (No deposit)
    * No deposit bonus (Nowt major - say £20 once a fortnight with 10x turnover?)
    * Enhanced deposit bonus (IE: bonus code etc for 75% now and again)
    * Any other 'gift' say to the value of £25ish (Example: I was Low roller VIP @ Purple Lounge and they sent me LOTR DVD Limited Edition Boxset and Board Game, another time £50 Argos Vouchers)

Just some ideas and need a lot more input from others but I do feel that It would not cost the casinos an arm and a leg and also in the long run be beneficial to the casinos.

Please forum members and Casino reps, let me know what you think.

    Cheers!

I try to play only at those places that already are giving something back, even though I'm a low roller.

I could never say anything bad about 32Red. Never have any casino been so generous to me ever, and I'll stay loyal to them
Guts - who can forget that Christmas present I got. Still have all the wine left though. I'm a terrible drinker:p
Thrills, Vera&John, Tropica and a few more.

I don't know what more they can give me, but those that don't give any I don't give anything to either. It's that easy to choose really :)

    Totally agree with both!

Likewise I'm not putting any casinos 'down' either.

I have never received anything!* and as much as 32red is one of my two faves they have been extremely tight last year or more to me personally when it comes to recognising that my loyalty has remained impaired.

This will not change my opinion of them as they will always be my 'join No.1' but like I said in the OP it would not hurt (or cost) much to implement this type of system.

As a former Pit boss in B&M casino we regularly had the conversation 'Would you rather have one customer who spends £2500 in one visit per year or a hundred guys who spend a tenner a day?'

    * This is not a 'bitch n moan' just as it says in OP an idea for players n reps to 'feedback' on.
When I say 'received nothing' - I am referring to 'over and above' the standard entitlements to all players, basically a small token of recognition for continued loyalty and not 'straying' regardless of fortunes / experiences :) :) :)

Good post, 1st of if there was no small fry than the big fish would dry up, I think a lot of small rollers keep the casinos in business,

This is the reason I jump ship across a few different casinos, At the minute there's not one casino that offers a good deal for small rollers all the time, so I have to keep my running shoes and check different haunts, I must say I do stick to a few, If I was offered something from just a few sites than there be no need to move about as much as I do,

It would be good to no there is something to look forward to instead of a deposit bonus and that's it which comes with just about impossible WR,

I do not care if some free funds comes with a big wager, As it gives some play time and always a chance

    Logo gear

I am actually surprised to see that casinos don't send out the cheap logo merchandise like tee shirts, pens and even thumb drives. They make good inexpensive freebie items for low rollers and also provide some advertising. Everyone likes to get stuff, even if it's a 10¢ pen.

The rewards you have listed can be broken into two categories, let's call those online rewards and offline rewards.

The lack of rewards in the latter category is in my opinion the very reason why online casinos exist, thrive, and offer games with high RTP and low minimal bet in variety which cannot be found in B&M casinos. Because they do not need to pay the janitors, bouncers, waitresses, and mailmen. Those are not only the extra expenses but also an additional overhead, hiring employees of different occupations and learning new things. Not going into this and keeping the business strictly online makes it much easier to operate. That's why I believe those physical rewards are rare and limited.

As for the online rewards, I am actually surprised you haven't gotten those. They are fairly common in my experience - special bonuses, no condition cash-backs, free chips, etc. Many casinos would do it to their loyal players even without calling them VIPs, others would indeed promote you to some sort of Silver or Gold status first. Also there are examples of crooked casinos which would call you a VIP very soon after registration and then send you the same crappy bonuses marked as "super special exclusive VIP".

I think a low roller reward system/VIP is a great idea however I also think that it needs to be well thought out so that it benefits both the players and the casino itself.

The problem I can see with having such a system is alot of casinos already have daily/weekly promotions + loyalty schemes and they probably see that as the reward system itself no matter if your a low/mid/high roller. In a way its already somewhat fair because loyalty points/cashback systems for alot of places work in a way that rewards you depending on how much you wager to convert to loyalty points. You can always redeem those points for cash/physical goods or other things. So in a way that system already exists for most places.

What I think could work is an exclusive low roller loyalty program that has seperate promotions + its own points system where if you opt in you are excluded from other promotions + loyalty programs. I would only say that because I would believe its unfair to be a low roller VIP and also get the benefits of double dipping with other promotions. Of course you could opt out of such a low roller program but you lose whatever benefits is in it.

Where I believe such a thing would work is at online casinos that have maximum weekly/monthly deposit limits. Imagine if you set a maximum weekly deposit of $20-$50 at a particular online casino. It may take you quite a long time to be able to convert loyalty points into something useful if you happen to be unlucky all the time so in that sense loyalty/reward points are not too interesting and it could take 2 months or longer to generate enough points to make use of it. You could play around infinitely with low roller programs though if they existed. For example you could do something like for every deposit get 10% wager free once a week (anywhere from $20-$50 will only give you $2-$5, hardly a big deal but a nice little bonus for low rollers). You could also do an exclusive low roller leaderboard weekly (much like videoslots one) where top 30 gets something nice. The combinations can be pretty endless here and theres alot you can play around with to entice the low rollers to opt in such a program.

I think low rollers would appreciate for most more playing time as opposed to cheap freebie gifts and it may benefit the casino too as more playing time should mean more profits in the long run. Have custom made promotions targetting deposits under say $50 and that would be a good start :p

Just my thoughts which may or may not be well thought out haha!

I would be considered a low roller at a few casinos based on your criteria, but should be considered a loyal roller for regular weekly deposits below your $40 threshold. I play regularly at about a dozen casinos. The only useful gift that I have ever received is a $15 loyalty bonus by Club World given to me last month. I say useful because the $5 Manager bonuses given by Inetbet are useless to USA players. With a 10x max payout there is no way to redeem any winnings.

Even being a loyal depositor comes with few perks these days. It used to be that casinos where you regularly deposited would at least offer a decent birthday chip. Well, I just had my birthday last week and the only chip offered without requiring a deposit first was from Slotastic and it was a generous $50. All others required some sort of deposit and then would give you a $10 chip.

I'm glad you mentioned Club World. I forgot about their cash back bonus.

Over time of a few weeks of deposits this does add up to a nice cash back and I have cashed out on it a few times.

I am a low roller and about to get even lower.

I don't know if I am just bored with what is available to USA players or it's just me.

Even with the occasional bonus I take at Club World & Lucky Red of 66-70%, with the playthrough at 25x, I just don't make it. I miss the old days. At least I had a chance with 10x to 15x.

But then playing with no bonus, I have a smaller bank roll, which goes just as fast...............

    I don't know anymore...........

I am bored with 3Dice too. Unless you are "gold", any actual scheduled freebie, which is only once a month (21st), comes with wagering.

I am not sure how much for everyone else, but mine was 15x last week and never came close to making it.

Don't know what I want to do!

    haha true.

This is one of my topics I was going to talk about on my stream to be honest, I would not recommend taking a bonus that has a 25X playthrough. I am not sure how up to date this is but Jackpot Capital and slotocash allow you to withdraw the bonus money after you reached playthrough with slotocash offering low playthrough bonuses.

Well BIG THANK YOU to all who contributed to the idea/thread :) feedback has been great

Having given it a fortnight roughly since starting thread would have like to have seen a little contribution from the odd casino rep here or there, even if it wasn't what I 'wanted to read'

Guess its back to the drawing board .......:p

    Cheers Again All!

Unfortunately the lack of input, particularly from reps, provides proof that low rollers who will regularly deposit £10 - £20 at a time, and generally will walk away without winning are less valued than punters who will make the occasional large deposit and not return whether they win, lose or draw. These larger deposits are easier for the casino to handle and will, in their mind, lead to more profit than the low roller who may deposit the same amount over a longer period of time. Just my thoughts but I do think it is backed up by the silence from the reps, though there are some good sites/reps who will still give the low roller a fair run with free spins and deposit bonuses.

And I think you're not really correct there. I think most casinos value low rollers a lot. There are a lot more of us and they wouldn't survive without us :)

Why they don't reply in this thread is probably because they think they already are giving out enough, to both low and high rollers. At least as much as they can afford.
I also believe that if you asked any rep through pm you would get an honest answer. Maybe not the one you want to get, but still more than silence ;)
