Hello guys not sure if this is the correct area to post but it is not a complaint per se. Yesterday I deposited £90 via Neteller to Prospect Hall Casino and shortly after this Neteller went down. Prospect Hall aka Betable don't have a record of this deposit. I contacted Neteller and received the Merchant Id no for Prospect Hall in order to track down my deposit. This has been over 24hours and they can't seem to find this money even though I have given them enough in order to track the payment down per Neteller.

How long is a reasonable amount of time for a casino to research and find the missing money that Neteller said they sent? Dealing with Prospect Hall Casino via only email is very frustrating and I wish I didn't deposit at all. At this point in time I feel that I paid for nothing and am wondering if I will get my money back or credited to my casino account.

Any advice my fellow meister members can give me on this situation would be greatly appreciated. Is there a Prospect Hall rep on the forums?

    Thanks in advance

Ask Neteller for the transaction ID and a PDF copy of your transaction which you can send then to the casino.

Can you see the transaction in your history? Did Neteller confirm that the money was sent to and received into the casino's account? They can see that from their end.

Thanks Harry I already did that. I sent them the info on my account on my Neteller account I also contacted Neteller who verified that the money was sent and got the transaction ID which I sent to the casino. They still say they can't find it. So on one hand I have Neteller who see on their side that the funds were sent and received and gave me the transaction number on the other hand I have a casino that says they can't find the money and are still researching. Maybe it's foolish of me to think that it's relatively easy for a casino to track a transaction when they have all the relevant information from Neteller including the transaction and merchant id number.

It doesn't help when the only way of communicating with this casino is via e-mail and the responses I am getting so far seem kind of boiler plate and lack any urgency. I guess this teaches me a lesson not to deposit into a casino that does not have live chat or a rep on the forum. This is €127 euro in total after the currency exchange fees that Neteller have charged me which I did not get anything for and don't know what to do at this point.

Me too Harry and yes I think they are done for the weekend. Not a good first impression of Prospect Hall from my perspective.
We will see what happens on Monday.

    Thanks HarrY:thumbsup:

I had something similar with a skrill transaction to 32red which where "in no-mans land" for 3 days. You would expect an operator like 32red to sort this out in minutes. NOT.
It took 3 days and a friendly reminder until the amount was credited to my account-balance.

So I guess you need some patience but in the end it should be sorted out.

Glad it worked out okay for you osulle.

It was just unlucky that you deposited just as neteller went down. Credit to the casino as well tho for finding it quite fast and crediting it to your account.

I know it seems a long time you waited and you would think it would be easier to find but for some reason when money gets lost its never as easy to find. My sister had a withdrawal sent o to bank once from William Hill that got lost and even tho bank and William Hill kept trying to find it it took a couple of weeks. Stupid and True. For some reason once moneys lost it can never be found quickly.

This has been going on for YEARS, and it's about time a proper fail-safe system was implemented so that money simply cannot just vanish into the ether when there is a common issue with internet connectivity. There should be a system that works like the banks such that if a transaction fails mid way, and the money can't be found by the casino, it can be pulled back by Neteller and the transaction voided. It would rely on there being a system whereby the casino sends confirmation back to Neteller that the money has been allocated to the relevant casino account, and if this does not happen within, say, an hour the transaction is voided and if the casino then finds the money it will have a void marker on it so they would not simply be able to belatedly credit it to the player, but would have to market to the player in order to persuade them to try again. It would also end the problem where player DO try again, and end up duplicating their deposits and losses at that casino because the original attempt that they thought had failed ends up succeeding, and rules mean they must play it rather than simply have it returned to their Neteller.

Being in Canada, I don't use Neteller. Not too long ago, I had a deposit via my credit card at a point it went down, merchant never got the code to pick it up. Took eleven days to resolve, and a little bit of the delay was time difference between Canada and europe.

Quite recently made a deposit that was credited, but didn't come out of my ecopayz account. I got an error message and checked my ewallet right away and informed the casino.

Took over a week of me insisting I owed them money to get it sorted.

Nothing disappears forever though. Merchants have x number of days to pick something up before it is returned to card or ewallet. This can vary depending on the policy.

Frustrating and time consuming to say the least.

    Glad you got this sorted..

I had this happen at GUTS 2 days ago, only difference was it seemed to be a problem on the side of GUTS and not Neteller. Been having a few problems since they changed their setup.

CS rep Emilia had it sorted for me within a couple of hours though.

That is why I am never depositing into a casino that doesn't have a rep on the forum after this. To be fair the situation was resolved and I believe it happened when Neteller went down on Thursday right after I made that deposit. I was just very worried that the money would be lost in limbo indefinitely.

I have had a few problems in the past when I used the Neteller debit card where the transaction was declined on the vendors side but taken out of my Neteller account. Those always get returned after 10 business days since the merchant doesn't verify the transaction.

This is the first time in 3 years that I had a lost transaction sending money to a casino and hopefully the last:D
