Feedback Loophole/Exploit/Bug in Depositing Methods

Yes theoretically accounting would pick it up eventually unless the outfit is completely hopeless.

The guy never said he was planning on abusing it though, otherwise he wouldn't be posting about it everywhere.
no I know, but others would and presumably they could hit casinos for quite a bit before they got discovered

Not sure what the problem is (as some have mentioned) in asking for a payment to let them know of a security flaw, that sort of thing happens all the time, and if it's potentially going to save a casino thousands, then why shouldn't they pay a 'reward' to the person saving them that money?

I have no problem with that?

Hey guys & girls ☺

I didn't find right section where should i post this, so i will here. If its in wrong section please relocate it

So i have found this "Exploit" regarding Depositing in Online Casino's.
Basically you are credited amount to account but your money is still in the bank.
I have opened thread on Askgamblers but it seems like they are protecting Casino's.
I will post the link of the thread, it contains evidence and all.

**snip**

My question is:
Since i found out about this, I'm i in right to ask for Reward?
That doesn't look like a loophole to me. The Casino will place a call on the bank for the money eventually and it will still come out of your bank, it just means it hasn't been called for. So I certainly wouldn't spend the money in the bank

They can't just call your bank and ask for the money. Even if it was somekind of mistake. Its up to you, will you pay them or not.

Without knowing what exactly this issue is, there are some payment methods where funds are not taken right away from players bank and these can of course be abused if seeing any point in that. Casinos usually are aware of which payment methods have this potential, keep checking them and before paying withdrawal, making sure these are settled.

Looked at the thread over at askgamblers.
Seems like all you are after is squeezing a reward out of casinos for telling them about the exploit.

But whats wrong with it? It happens all the time in business, for example, hackers will target a company, find exploits and ask them to pay to be told about it.
When the spamming with affiliates was going on, and just after the first penalties were given out, a couple of casinos gave me gifts for helping them out, difference between that and this though is they were unsolicited.

And i can't understand those people.
We all know nothing is free in this world. But I'm not asking for millions or something like that.

Maybe person who doesn't agree have some money invested in Casino or own Casino?

Have you asked? Support could give you 10 FS to Starburst :)

Never said anything was wrong with it, but since he has to show the exploit for them to believe it exists, it leaves little room to negotiate a reward afterwards.
I just doubt many casinos would pay for something they didnt have to.

Yeah, most big companies will have the Bug Bounty or whatever they’re calling it program, that people sign up to (so that there’s agreement to destroy any data they obtain etc, legal duty to disclose what’s found etc) but that’s a bit different to random hackers (ethical or not) gaining access to systems, no? ( not saying that’s the case here just the general what’s legal/what’s not, reference to hacking)

I am none the wiser, TBH.

The receipt screenshots were for EUR1.90 and was a refund from the bank for the transactions. No clue how that is connected to the casino deposit.

Nowhere did the OP show a bank statement with outgoing and incoming transactions clearly assigned to casino XYZ as well as a Deposit/Withdrawal screenshot from casino XYZ.

Agree, I'm yet to see any proof of an exploit here.

A handful of screenshots showing f*** all just won't do for me.

That said there most definitely are deposit methods that can have big delays/not sent. Casinos are aware of that and it will be checked before any withdrawal.

Some methods used to have these "loopholes" where these could be cancelled for example during whole weekend if done on Friday etc... These have bit higher risk to casinos but very few people willing to try benefit from opportunity where you can cancel your deposit and play for free (don't believe anyone would pay withdrawals before deposit settled), there are some and mostly accidents.

Is there anything to indicate that's what he's doing? My guess would be it's something way simpler like hitting cancel at a certain point, or using a test card number (one site I know that shall remain nameless allowed "test" deposits with credit card 1234-2234-1234-1234)

No.

Almost every payment API has 2 modes:

1: test modes, where you can test every transaction without actually making a payment.
2: live modus, where the test functionality is gone, and it only works when real payments are done.

They would be having idiots if something is still left on test modus.

I haven't read the thread in question, so this is probably something different.

But I could deposit with PayPal without them taking the money out of my bank account until 3 days later. And if I didn't have any money at that point I would have a negative PayPal balance.

And paypal would send you a debt collector sooner or later. I've bin in a different situation, and i doom paypal for good because of it. I sold something worth of 400 euro over the net. It was supposed to be shipped by mail. The buyer wanted to come pick it up, ive prepared contracts, i had his ID, i even have him on video since he entered the garage, sold the part, so far so good. One month later, claim from Paypal buyer did'nt recieve the product. Ive bin in debate with paypal for months and i shoved ALL the proof under their nose. I got scammed, but because of paypal's policy, i still needed to pay. Mind you it was on chat as well.

I was moving from one country to another country at that time, and i said good luck with getting that claim. I never heard from 'm again. Paypal is garbage. And even tho this was in my case, they still did'nt accept that.
