Looking for resources/vacancies for software development within the gaming industry

I am looking for some advice on where to find resources or vacancy listings for software development jobs within the gaming industry. I am an experienced software engineer by trade but my experience is with back end and low level stuff like C and C++ rather than web front end stuff. I also have a Phd in Maths and a very strong interest in the mathematical aspects of gaming too. I am considering a career direction change and would really like to see if I could get into this sector as a developer or analyst. If anyone could point me in the right direction with regards to vacancy listings or some UK based companies that take on developers I would be very grateful. In addition if anyone could suggest some current technologies that are used in creating internet based games (slots in particular) I would find it very useful so that I can acquire some skills to put on my CV to help me break into this area.

Check out Game Account (gameaccountnetwork.com) - they are London based and develop Aristocrat, Ainsworth and Incredible games on licence. Last time I spoke to them they were pretty busy too
