Long loading times for Net-Ent slots

just wanted to see if anybody else has the same problem.

after getting verified by VS i played my first deposit (and lost :) ) on Microgaming slots and now earned 5 free spins on the Lights slot. Been trying for one hour to load the game. That green line progresses ever so slowly and at some point i get a time-out message "Game is not available, please try later". Tried DOA and that took nearly 5 minutes to load but at least it did it. Lights just won't, tried Firefox and IE11, no difference.

i got a fast 100MB broadband cable connection and anything else is as fast as usually, so it can't be my internet connection.

anybody else having this issues? any suggestions?

emptied cache etc. already, no change. will restart my laptop now to see if that helps.

Sometimes i have same terrible problem, say that it is annoying - say nothing. Have no idea why, and how to resolve, luckily it is rare problem.

I have an older and not very powerful computer, and I have great difficulties loading Lights. I have been told by one casino that game is very resource demanding.

I usually ask if I can have my free spins on Starburst instead.

Mines quite old too, i dont seem to have problems with lights, its Aliens which is the problem, never played it yet

Thank you all.

Managed to load it just now and had 5 dead spins :( so much hassle for 5 free spins which then pay "zilch" LOOL

The way it worked for me was that the soon I saw the green loading line stopping I refreshed the page with F5. On the third refreshing is suddenly loaded very quickly. I used Firefox.

BTW, the Microgaming slots load in a matter of seconds, it is the Net-Ent games which take long on my side.

I have a fairly new Ultrabook with 4GB RAM and SSD memory, anything else runs at lightning speed on it.

NetEnt is much more sensitive to any sluggishness of connection when it comes to time-outs, maybe it's more sensitive also when it comes to downloading the game also. Thailand has internet censorship, and it has apparently gotten worse since May 2014 military coup. Though gambling is illegal in Thailand, the censorship isn't targeting gambling sites heavily, since filtering all gambling sites would make the internet painfully slow in Thailand. But even if they aren't trying to block gambling content that heavily, if the military has increased their censorship of political content and porn or other stuff, this extra filtering could cause extra sluggishness in all internet traffic. This could lead to problems with NetEnt games not downloading properly.

Yet a decidedly more tolerant tone was struck by Police Col. Niwate Arpawsin, a superintendent at the High-Tech Crime Unit. Niwate told the Bangkok Post that the country was “stuck in the mindset that gambling is a vice under Buddhism” and maybe it was time to “look around and accept that the world has changed.”

The 2007 Computer Crime Act allows the authorities to get court orders to block websites that act contrary to the “good morals of the people.” But Niwate said blacklisting online gambling sites wasn’t his unit’s top priority because the amount of filtering necessary to block all gambling sites would make accessing the internet “painfully slow.”
