LOL...I was playing this on demo today and got the enhanced trigger. Chose the 7 spins, got 9 as the other symbol aside from the heart. Result - 2x stake. 16 positions to get one of two symbols, x 7 spins, equals 112 tiles. I got one 9 on reel 3 on the 4th. spin.

Yep, would have got 6x for the 3-scatters if I had triggered normally. I then went for another enhanced feature, took 1,100 spins to get the next 40 hearts and in the meantime not one 'normal' trigger. This time I got 22.4x.

This slot is pure chasing.

I hope the UK Commissions, nip this in the bud

And yet they could of, quite legally and easily, made the enhanced feature guarantee a minimum of 20x (or some other reasonable value)...

Fine if the normal features are volatile, but at least reward something for the chase of the other one...

Bad maths and design there IMHO

I'd agree with that. Can't imagine it'd have a massive effect on the RTP to offer some kind of bonus guarantee.

So yeh, there we go. Shout if you have more questions or things you would like me to look in to!

First of all, thank you for doing this! After an insane (no really) amount of spins on this slot I have a couple of questions:

1. Can you tell me all of the possible wild combinations on reel 5? Or perhaps just a link to all the reels so I can figure it out myself. Especially interested to know if a wild + purple heart is possible on both reel 2 or reel 5. I expect no, but I want to be sure. Related to that: what is the maximum base game hit with wilds on reel 2 and 5, 12x angel on reel 3 and 4 and the best possible combinations on reel 1 and 6?
2. Does each symbol have a separate reel set for the bonus round? Does it differ from the reel set for the heartstopper bonus?
3. Can you calculate the bonus frequency through the reels? I've had back to back bonuses twice but also not had a bonus for close to 70 hearts, like more than 3 hours of autospin without a bonus. Also had 7 bonuses once within 1 heartstopper round. It all screams extremely high volatility.
4. Your ranking doesn't take symbol pairings into account. What would be interesting to see is not only the frequency of symbols on a reel but their best possible way to land for multiple symbols in view. It's much easier to get a retrigger with paired symbols, frequency isn't everything. Again, having all of the reel sets would help me figure this out myself as well. I know I can't influence it in any way, I'm just interested in the math behind it all.

There is 1 wild symbol on reel 5 and the symbols around it are

6
6
10
0
9
10
8

6=K
10=9
0=Wild
9=10
8=J

Wild + Purple Heart is not possible on either reel (that I can see). It is possible on Reel 4.

Max base game hit is pretty hard to work out, as you'd need to find all the combinations of possible wins and see if any of the lower symbols at higher ways outpay the bigger symbols at lower ways. DM me an email address and i'll send you the reelsets. You can give it a go if you want :)

2. Does each symbol have a separate reel set for the bonus round? Does it differ from the reel set for the heartstopper bonus?

There are 21 reel sets in total. Each symbol in 'Be My Angel' has it's own reel set and each has another set for the heartstopper. In total the reel sets are

1 for base game
9 for Be My Angel
9 for Be My Angel Heartstopper
2 for Dynamite Lover (not sure if they are both used during both standard and heartstopper, or if there is one for each. I've not checked)

There are also 2 sets of cascade definitions for use in Dynamite Lover

If my statistical maths were better, yes... but it's not haha. Scatter frequency on the reels is 3,2,2,2,3,3. this is quite a lot lower than Danger! High Voltage, which has 3,4,3,3,4,3.

I don't think it makes a difference, as a pair of symbols will be hit less frequently, so it should even out. As above though, my stats isn't great, so I could well be wrong here! Happy to send the reel sets tho, so DM me.

Hi, I thought I'd take a look at the code, I take it comes from the .JS file?

I could only see 18 reelsets though, and how do you know which number refers to the image, say 8 = J

Easier if you get it from the game communications rather than dig through the JS.

To identify the symbols, do a spin and look at the game communications, match up the results in the coms to the symbols on the screen. BTG always seem to use the same system as well, so that makes it easier (1 is highest paying, then go in order to lowest paying. Then scatter after that.

I can send you the parsed reel sets if you want them. DM me.

I don't know how to look at the game comms :)

Chrome > Menu > More Tools > Developer Tools

Go to the network tab. All coms in and out of the browser tab will be displayed there. Locate the ones that are the game communications by clearing the list before you load the game, then click on them and check the request and response for the bits that look like game communications (normally JSON or XML).

I could do that if people wanted me too, would need to know how many total symbols per reel too please :)

Ta i will go work it out now, thats IF what we see its true of course as TBH i wasnt convinced that the DHV reel strips were genuine but i will see what it come out at.

I did some tentative testing on the reel strips on this and DHV and the results that landed during spins were always combinations that were on the reel strips, so I believe they are genuine. The main thing we can't tell is if there are any weightings applied. If there are, then we will naturally be inaccurate on any statistical modelling based solely on the strips.

Not usually a gambling man but I'd bet everything I own and ever own in the future that they most certainly are!

Well with the info we have it would come out at a 301 spin feature average, if i done it right, I will check my math later when got more time.

Eg 315 ave for a 3 trigger but overall feature 301 spins ave.

I hope they dont as we would lose games like immortal romance and MANY others, at least with this mechanic the player knows what they getting into from the off and can choose whether to play or not, I never play Yggdrasil chase ones but like this, IR and chilli for example.
