Like? Or Thanks? And tags?

I have finally reached the magic number of 10 posts, so I can begin thanking/liking to my heart's content.

But....what is the difference between the two?

I did a Casinomeister search but it was an impossible task as the words "thanks" and 'Like" appear like...a trillion times.

I am also constantly getting an error msg when I try to preview or submit, namely "You do not have permission to create tags. You may only use existing tags." Err...I am not creating any tags. I am simply typing in my text. The tags that appear in this post are: Casinomeister, search, impossible, trillion, times, and they are preventing me from submitting, until I clear them from the Tags section.

But why are these very innocent words being flagged as tags?

And after clearing the tags, and trying to submit, I am again stymied due to the following "tags" now appearing: tags, trillion, times, search, impossible.

Like and Thanks are purely subjective. Typically I "like" a post if I agree with the sentiment and I "thank" a post when it tells me something I didn't know or someone has done something good or helped someone.

As for the tags error, I'll leave that one to Bryan or Max as I have no idea :D

A member listed as "newbie" isn't able to use tags. See here:
    http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/faq.php?faq=forumrules#faq_forum_membership

When you go from newbie to fully registered you're able to then create tags.

newbie: Automatically promotes to "Fully Registered" if Days Registered > 90 AND (Reputation > 50 OR Posts > 50)
fully registered: Fully Registered promotes to Experienced Member if Days Registered > 365 AND (Reputation > 200 OR Posts > 100)

I am not actually creating any tags...they are appearing automatically and are stopping me from posting, until I clear them out. This is what I don't understand. Still very very

Hmmm...I thought after 10 posts I could 'Thank' but apparently not. I only appear to be able to 'Like' - and I have tried both IE/Chrome with the same results.

    Have the rules changed then?

OK...confession time....my new hair colour (blonde) has gone straight to my brain.

    I can THANK but I can't LIKE.

    NOT the other way around.

You definitely can't fix stupid! :)
