So I signed up to Liberty slots. Made two deposit's one yesterday and the second today. When I reached $78 today I thought I better go look for a max bet percentage rule.

Only to find I'm from a country who's bonus banned. I found it odd as I had a sign up no deposit then a $30 bonus for being signed for a month.

I'm not used to being bonus banned, this have never happened to me before. When I deposited the bonuses were offered to me. Also I have been sent many bonuses via email nearly every other day.

Just a warning really to Brit's as you are on this list: Bonuses are not available to players residing in the following countries:

Australia, Denmark, Israel, United Kingdom, Greece, Ireland, India, Lebanon, Romania, Poland, Russian Federation

Hey this was my chat with live support, it started bad but ended on a bright side for now.

Andrea: Hello,

Andrea: Thank you for contacting customer service. How can I assist you today.

You: Hi.

You: I'm from the United Kingdom, I have deposited twice now. I just read in your terms and conditions that players from the UK can not play with deposit bonuses. The problem is you keep on sending me bonus promotions threw emails.

You: I have a balance of $78 today from my second deposit.

You: I'm not complaining because I have lost. I'm complaining because I can't cashout from my deposits.

You: This is very wrong.

Andrea: That is managements decision.

You: Account number: xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Andrea: That is why we have a disclaimer.

You: What to send me bonuses nearly everyday, that I can't win from.

You: Why would you send these bonuses to me knowing I can't claim them?

Andrea: That is because you are subscribed to receive our emails.

You: Andrea?

You: Erm no I'm not, I signed up. That's it.

Andrea: What I can do for you is have you removed from the mailing list.

You: How about my last two deposits? I think you should send them back.

You: Andrea?

Andrea: I will have my supervisor review this case.

You: Yes, then email me the result.

Andrea: Please be advised that in order for us to refund you your money your account will be closed.

Andrea: I will send the account to the relevant department for it to be reviewed.

You: Ok.

You: Have you spoke to your supervisor then.

Andrea: yes I did.

Andrea: That is what he advised.

You: Ok, then close my account and send back my deposits.

Andrea: your account has been closed.

Andrea: the relevant department will have a look at your account.

Andrea: you will receive an update on Monday.

You: Ok, bye.

Andrea: is there anything else that I can assist you with?

You: No, bye.

I checked there register page and found that the accept promotions by email was checked upon loading.

Although you should have known this by reading the terms, the CASINO should also have known as they made those terms, and should therefore ONLY have sent you promotions for which you are eligible.

This is predatory because it looks like management had decided that YOU would be allowed those promotions sent to you because you had demonstrated a degree of loyalty to the casino. Using promotions emailed to you is NOT the same as finding them on some affiliate site and trying to get one over on the casino that has not sent the codes to ineligible players.

This casino is already in the pit because it refuses to tell players where they are licensed, which means that players cannot exercise their right to raise a dispute with their regulatory authority. This means the casino can do whatever it likes, and no-one can stop them (except the DoJ).

They are not after non-US players in any case. The whole operation has been tailored to operate in the US "illegally", and everythng has been designed to keep the DoJ from following the money trail and shutting them down. US players play there because their choice is so restricted, and they face non-payment every day through the DoJ tracing the payments and freezing them. UK players should not be taking these risks, as the choices are very wide, and many are very good (32Red for example).

LS aren't in the pit technically.....just the not recommended section.

I was sent a personal snail mail invite not long after they opened (before the crap hit the fan) and took it. Maybe I should ask for my deposit back, given I may not have been paid. In my case, given it was personally addressed, it certainly does look either predatory, incompetent, or both.

Another blot on the copybook. Shame, as I like the games.

I've never been in this situation myself, but I just don't get why they suggested you had to close your account to get your money back...
I do know one thing, if it was me I would NEVER ask for my account to be closed - especially not BEFORE I got my money back!

Please keep us informed how this pans out...

I to have received snail mail promotions and that's not an emailing list.

KK, I think they just wanted me to keep my account open and let go my previous deposits.

I will post when they get back to me.

i'm surprised because of Bryan's recent statement about there honesty as not to rip any one off

An "honest" casino would not be making PERSONAL offers to players that were not eligible, and then trying the "it's in the terms" excuse when they win. Making a personal offer to someone that is invalid from the start is little different to fraud. No different to a player giving a personal assurance about some fact to the casino before play that they then deny after they have lost, and use to get their deposit back by dubious means, such as the classic "my card was stolen" excuse to the bank.

well, snap! No Canadians..not often a casino that takes Americans and not Canadians

Maybe the owners are Canadian, as with Rival.

It also suggests the sale itself was a sham, and it is the SAME Canadians that owned and ran EH that now own and run LS. I believe EH banned Canadians because that's where it's owners lived, similarly with Rival. Neteller banned Canadians because their main head office is in Canada.

It is all to remain clear of any danger that the Canadian authorities will go after them.
