I think I encountered something similar a couple of weeks back.
May have been a fluke but I totally closed off the browser, restarted PC from scratch and reloaded site and game and away I went.
All that 'hassle' for a FG lol!
Not sure why they would need a week to fix this.
What you can try is open the slot on mobile and then restart it on PC, or maybe see if it's working for you in another casino
