As a slots player and someone who has in the past limited my online gambling as I felt I was playing too much, I feel it is only right to express my view on something I witnessed last night.

I was watching a steamer called LetsGiveItASpin on the twitch platform who for nearly 5 hours was drunken gambling. As the alcohol continued to flow, the bets increased. On the video slots he was playing 2000 SEK which is £179 per spin and when he ran out of money, he went on support live chat to demand deposit bonuses many many times who were only too happy to oblige.

It was painful watching a grown man bang the desk, knock glasses over and curse loudly as thousand upon thousand emptied from his account. Bare in mind this went on for hours, deposit after deposit. When he was doing £600 hands on BJ I couldn't watch anymore - I literally felt sick.

What shocked me was there were employees at LeoVegas in the chatroom who apparently are there to answer questions from players. Were they actually supporting this episode and do they actually care?

If you can stomach it, you can watch the replay here:

Just my two cents, but LeoVegas you should be ashamed of the part you played in this. Giving a player who is clearly intoxicated both the opportunity to deposit further funds and support them by giving bonuses.

Leo Vegas is reviewed at Casinomeister
can you be any more dramatic?

1) He has a lot of money so that loss is small change for him
2) It is not sickening at all, you must have little contact in the real world to be upset by that
3) He looks happy and probably get most of it back anyway off the casino
4) Leovegas did nothing wrong
5) Maybe best don't watch if it bothers you so much

The stream was marked "drunk stream" so he would have disappointed his viewers if he wasn't drunk.

Kim will only gamble what he can afford to lose.

I am sure he had a sore head this morning.... hope that it cleared by now Kim.

You'd think someone doing £180 a spin would be able to afford it, drunk or not. So whilst morally dubious, if a streamer wants to entertain the masses doing crazy bets then that's up to them!

Nor would I envisage LeoVegas or any other casino preventing them from doing so, why would they?

Usual streamer crap.. only bet what they can afford to lose, totally glorify gambling in the worst way possible.
What most don't tell you is the massive cashback they got let from casinos and also the affiliate sign up earnings they get from viewers, so in essence it isn't a penny of 'earned' money they are using.
They get max bet with a bonus lifted and also much much more bonus's to use, so that's why a lot of them are actually plus EV, if they bust the casino is there to give another bonus giving the streamer another chance to profit if not at least break even.
It's the most false portrayal of online slot play you could ever wish to see.
Each to there own if you want to watch but really really not my thing, find the shilliness and begging from some nothing short of embarresing.
Love the dunover vids, and some big win vids people post. Just find streaming cringey and nauseating.

Kim might play 300 krona at most doing Big Bets on Barcrest slots but no higher. His girlfriend Maja, completely stewed, once made a 1250 krona bet in Great Blue.

Kim is a really nice guy but I don't accept the gambling he or the other "businessmen" does on Teitch/YouTube as legitimate. Shaltar, Fatso, omgcezwho, BALL1NLIVE and baitorbebaited are examples of legit gamblers. The guys playing live slots at casinos are legit. CasinoTwitcher was legit. Kim has always been an entertainer and he does that well. However, he isn't doing anybody any harm and nobody is forced to watch him.

Without naming etc, some streams are genuine and nice to watch or at least view their "Hello You Tube" parts ;)

There are a handful of regular posters on here who stream who come across as genuine nice people who I'd have a pint with anytime....

However there are others that are not.....

Streaming is defo like marmite!
Fatso I think is great, as you said others are not so great.
Fatso is the only one I watch, but that's the big wins on YouTube, not the live stream as I ain't time during a normal working day to watch somebody pretend to be making a living off others cash. As I'm for 3 weeks out of 6 out of the country usually.
Definately a marmite subject and one I was given a time out for in the past, I'll not delve back into that as I'm here as a slots fan not one who wants to cause trouble for myself, but a lot of questions went unanswered not only to me but others.
Back on topic... a guy live on stream gambling drunk getting whatever he wants from a casino where he has personal perks leaves a bad taste, I didn't see it as I won't watch a stream, but rather un classy at best. Bearing in mind a lot are underage or easily influenced at best who watch I think it's very poor form and irresponsible.

Not to pour fuel on the fire but IIRC about 6 months ago there was another vulgar live stream where sexual acts (being polite here) were also being performed,

Not a prude but I will visit "other sites" if ever I need to fulfill any shortfalls in that department, I do not expect it during a slotting stream.

Can't recall if it was this guy or not so will leave it there. (No accusations either before the pitchforks appear)

Never. Shows really where casino's morals and social standing actually lie.

What a load of rubbish as usual.

I gave up slot playing because the money ran out. I mainly played slots live on Twitch. Even with any affiliate earnings, there wasn't enough to carry on with. I am no high roller - max of £2 a spin.

Stop tarring every streamer with the same brush please and stop the insults. You've done it before, got a temp ban, so would have thought you learned from it.

Please don't be trying to bait me another ban. That's just wrong and very sly.
I've not insulted anybody personally, if I have please by all means do tell me, but I can't see any personal insults anywhere my learned friend.
And learned what exactly?.. not to have a opinion?.. to disagree on a moral stance on what a lot of streamers do?.. or just plainly not to agree with you?.
Every post referring to any streamer turns toxic, why exactly is that interlog?..

And I've no idea who you are or where or when you streamed. The bigger streamers clearly make a living off the sign ups, they do get donations, they do get bonuses a normal player doesn't get, they do get cashback, they are allowed to play with bigger max bets when using a bonus. So you tell me what exactly I said was rubbish please sir as I'm struggling to find anything I said untrue.

Maybe because of your hatred of them. There are streamers reading and participating in these forums as you know full well.

The whole post of yours that I quoted couldn't be further from the truth because not every streamer makes a profit.

All of that is assumption on your part. "What most don't tell you is...." to me reads that every streamer isn't using their own money, gets max bonus lifted etc.

If that was the case, I would still be streaming, making a decent living out of it. Matter of fact, it is nowhere near that.

Read back the Rizkmas gate topic and you know full well who I am, you responded to plenty of posts of mine then.

I just personally don't like it. If that's a problem to you then tough frankly.
I've not personally called anyone, nor been offensive.
I find your defence of streaming in general rather disturbing.
I've said fatso I thinks great, also dunover.
If you don't like my opinion so be it, but I'm entitled to it just as much as you are yours.

Sorry I may have forgotten you. Apologies profusely, I wasn't aware you where that important I needed to keep a live log of posts between us.

I am not important at all, but your sarcasm has been noted. Says more about you then me.

And with that, I am out...

Have a great evening. Nothing personal against you, was a post on a public forum where a member is able to post there opinion on a matter They wish to do so.
I don't hate anyone, especially a streamer. You did fail to answer though what exactly I said was untrue, the multiple bonus's allowed, the max bet allowed to be breached, the income big streamers earn through sign ups...the donations.
Anyway, I'll agree to disagree and glad this was ended on a happy note.

Can we stop the petty digs please, no-one has to have the last word! Dignity is in letting it lie and both accept you each have you're own opinions. :)

Wise words.... opinions are OK to be aired but it is always good to know your audience........... I learned that a long time ago.

Is it real money. Either way Leo Vegas arent promoting "Responsible Gambling"

I noticed Nickslots getting quite agitated the other day on a losing streak. Also noticed him posting a lot of screenshots from an ipad. He must be playing constantly.

Also just realised I know theslotbandit from old, from anothet forum I used to frequent. And he is about the most genuine one I know about. Ive seen him feed FOBTS £1000's and stroll around a Ladbrokes with a bin on his head. So seeing him lose £500 doest bother me too much .

At the end of the day we are all paying for these guys to play. They make a fortune from our losses. Thebandit seems very generous with his giveaways.

But back on topic. I dont think it should be happening as its irresponsible

Only irresponsible in my opinion if the money lost was beyond their means. What Letsgiveitaspin lost was nowhere near to what some of the other high roller streamers lose, or the Bandit for that matter during some of his videos. As long as they can afford it, good luck to them as far as I am concerned.

Not having a dig here and only using your quote as it was last one.

But i read quite a lot about as they are not losing more than they can afford then its okay.

But how the hell can any1 watching any stream possibly know whether a person is gambling beyond their means or not.

I could stream every day gambling a fortune and keep telling people its okay as i am filthy rich. How can anyone possibly tell whether or not i am losing money i can not afford to lose.

Noone is exactly going to sit streaming big bets whilst telling the viewers they are up to their necks in debt with no way out. Obviously they will all say they can afford it.

And for many people that can afford it its still a slippery slope. To be spending fortunes every day on a stream and placing huge bets they might be able to afford is still dangerous.

Gamblings so addictive and the problems start once you start losing all the time and losing loads. Thats when you see if like yourself streamers stop or keep going. If they keep going at crazy bets then it could end up a total disaster for them.
