LeoVegas: New Low?

Look I am not here to defend or bash casino streamers. I watch them for entertainment (the ones I like) . I like the banter and I guess because I have been a member of Casinomeister for so long I have a pretty good idea of how affiliate deals work and know for sure being an affiliate be it a traditional one or a streamer is pretty hard work especially if you only promote good casino properties.

I don't expect streamers to disclose how much they make via their affiliate deals as that is a no go area due to confidentiality etc and many streamers ignore questions like this but they do honestly answer questions with regards to what special treatment the particular casino they are streaming with such as extra deposit bonuses, higher max bets and being able to play restricted games.

I have shamelessly plugged Casinomeister on a few streams as being a great forum for help and advice and even directed a few people via whispers to here and nothing was ever said to me about that. With respect to responsible gambling many streamers constantly talk about this giving advice like don't gamble more than you can afford to lose etc. One streamer has his twitch bot that pops up on a regular basis a message regarding responsible gambling and even gives out numbers.

In the end watching a twitch stream is just for entertainment purposes and the chat ought to be fun and lighthearted at least in my opinion anyway. Still my favourite youtuber with regards to gambling is still Dunover in my mind he is king even more so after his Thunderstruck Trilogy, that man is the master :D

Leo Vegas is reviewed at Casinomeister
I've seen streams, where a question is asked that the streamer can't or won't answer. Thus resulting in the person asking the question banned many many times.
That's my whole argument, there on a public medium, you can't just pick and choose whom you wish to have dialogue with no matter how difficult (true) the question some ask may be.
Furthermore, the usual response from a streamer who doesn't like what they are asked always refers to the person as a 'troll'
Clearly a case of oh shit!.. I can't answer that it'll affect my business....

Oh you can. I refer you to RocknRolla (Paul) who was banned from Twitch after raising a fantastic £20k for charity. He flipped after some troll (and yes, I would call that person that) provoked him.

Sometimes it is best to just bite your tongue rather than enter into a discussion with a viewer.

As to Casinogrounds, it is a website for streamers. It is not everybody's cup of tea. The casino streaming community is very close and that includes the likes of Paul who has done a joint stream with Kim and will be doing a mega bullet as it called with Kim, Slotspinner and Nick next week. There is even talk of doing something with the Bandit in the future.

It is OK to dish Casinogrounds (you're entitled to do this I guess) but if all of those connected to them were that bad, the genuine guys as you call them such as Paul and the Bandit surely wouldn't have anything to do with them?

Of course they would haha, this is a popularity and money making venture for them.
Not knocking them for this one bit, that's upto them.
Im also pretty sure paul and bandit don't take donations, so from there point of view it's all about the exposure casinogrounds brings them.
Again for the upteenth time, iam not calling every streamer, every casinogrounds member. I'm simply saying it's a closed group who all have vested interests, other people opinions won't matter.

Yep. There are so many things out there that could make a viewer / streamer not want to respond, be rude, etc... when questions are asked. They may have also had other things to do... Who knows!

This thread in the end has been interesting.

For an outlook on what a small streamer has said about this thread. (I watch him too from time to time) Give this link a read: Old / Expired Link

I found it interesting.

EDIT: Just because said streamer is a Casino Grounds member doesn't mean they are all assholes or something. Blanket statements like this is not cool. :/

I don't think for a moment every casinogrounds member is a asshole. I've never said such a thing.
They all have vested interests so will defend each other regardless. That's all I'm saying.
No mention of a asshole there at all....

I think this is a very good reason why LeoVegas want to keep Letsgiveitaspin

Clearly LeoVegas are using him as a marketing tool and under no circumstances would they want rid of him even if he admits on stream he is gambling too much and cannot afford to pay his rent bill.

@peter1949

Kim is pretty much an employee of LeoVegas. They had him sit at the blackjack table and roulette wheel last year. You can see the video on his YT page. I was playing on that table during his appearance.
