As a slots player and someone who has in the past limited my online gambling as I felt I was playing too much, I feel it is only right to express my view on something I witnessed last night.
I was watching a steamer called LetsGiveItASpin on the twitch platform who for nearly 5 hours was drunken gambling. As the alcohol continued to flow, the bets increased. On the video slots he was playing 2000 SEK which is £179 per spin and when he ran out of money, he went on support live chat to demand deposit bonuses many many times who were only too happy to oblige.
It was painful watching a grown man bang the desk, knock glasses over and curse loudly as thousand upon thousand emptied from his account. Bare in mind this went on for hours, deposit after deposit. When he was doing £600 hands on BJ I couldn't watch anymore - I literally felt sick.
What shocked me was there were employees at LeoVegas in the chatroom who apparently are there to answer questions from players. Were they actually supporting this episode and do they actually care?
If you can stomach it, you can watch the replay here:
Just my two cents, but LeoVegas you should be ashamed of the part you played in this. Giving a player who is clearly intoxicated both the opportunity to deposit further funds and support them by giving bonuses.
