Leo vegas self exclusion problem

Hey there :)

LeoVegas rep is notified and they'll come back here with more info, after checking with the right department :)
How did it go can I get my 20 pound back? I deposited on 11th may they was part of royal panda since March I’ve been excluded from panda for ages now when I try to log in leo it says I’m self excluded but they let me deposit in may?

Really, 20 quid?

Doubt it - SE is AFAIK related to the licence, not the parent company.

Only reason I can think of why LV are doing this is because it's either precautionary or planning for some future activity or they've made to decision to apply it to connected companies who aren't necessarily on the same licence.

How long has royal panda been following the same exclusion rules as leo vegas. Im in the same boat as @adamjames.

Is it March 18 too?

Are royal panda liable for returning desposits if players were self excluded from the leo vegas group?big question!

I contacted the gambling commision who said yes they are despite if systems only merged recently. If players were excluded from leo vegas they should never have been allowed to open a royal panda account. Therefore funds should be returned. If not the player can open a case against them.

Yes exactly. Becasue they both fall under the "leo vegas gaming ltd"

Other sites such as pink casino would come under this too

The difference though is pinks on their licence,RP isn’t.

Enforcing a licence breach with RP wouldn’t be possible for the above reason. Unless it extends to companies in the same group but not under same licence conditions

Im sure Melvin will chime in when he’s about

Whether someone se'd at one casino should se at all of them is not really the issue here. By failing to identify than an existing player became a se'd player by virtue of a business acquisition means that this player should be paid back his deposits, less any withdrawals already made.

We all know that extraordinarily large wins or progressives are usually subject to enhanced verification. It might have come to light sooner had this been the case for the OP, so you can't really say it was business as usual and he doesn't deserve a refund IMO.

IMO casinos that take bets from SE players should pay winnings, but my opinion does not matter, it's the regulations that matter.

I don't know the current state of the OP's gambling issues. But I do know it's possible for someone to perhaps have less control if a casino has long pending times and they end up reversing and losing it all the time, whereas it might not be the same problem for them at a place that pays quickly.

Hi
Sent a couple of messages to LV rep James but no response since Friday. Is he on here often?
LV are still investigating and it is day 14

Hi
Is the Leo Vegas rep on here a lot?
Been sending him messages since Friday and had no reply...
Thanks

There are two reps for Leo Vegas and both was in here Friday. James as late as 3pm.
They should be in at least once a week but of course they have other things to do that can keep them busy. I suggest you wait a couple of more days and if no reply in the end of the week then the mods needs to be told, and maybe they can chase them for you.
Aren't you also waiting for response directly from the casino?

Changed the thread title, might get a quicker response.

I asked before what was an acceptable length of time for an investigation.I was advised 1-2 weeks (I appreciate this is not set in stone) It has now been 15 days and when I email the casino for an update I am told the same thing.."this is still with the relevant department".Well I know this as they have told me that everytime I have asked for an update but they totally ignore my direct questions about where the "investigation" is at.It is robotic after robotic responses.
I mean should I accept this at 3 weeks? a month? 3 months?
Thanks

Sounds to me like you've waited long enough. I'd say give the rep a couple days to reply and if you're still getting nowhere then I'll accept a PAB from you, as long as you haven't posted this elsewhere. See Update - How to submit a complaint: new procedures for PABs to get you started.
