FRANKFORT, Ky. -- House Speaker Greg Stumbo yesterday filed his bill to expand gambling at the state's racetracks and said he hoped to speed it to a vote when lawmakers reconvene next month.

Being from WV I am very familiar with these lottery terminals.....THEY suck....it is the same as buying a scratch off....i worked in 3 bars that had these....although operators placed them and they split 45% of the take with the bar owner...the state got the other 55%....They were mostly IGT machines....while i won here and there...i mostly lost. The area is just saturated with them...The rules were about 3 years ago: Racetracks can have as many machines as they want, Bars can have 5, private clubs(legions, vfw) can have 10....
