Looks interesting in small doses but those bonus rounds look chimply too hard to trigger. I'm sure it will ape-peel to someone :(

This is not a new slot tho..
I have played this at LeoVegas and is already available for months.. :):)

Anyway not worth it because the sticky wild win feature is the only thing that can boost your bankroll...But, that ain't happening to often just because it is Riggedrassil.. ;)

Yeah slot isn't new they just had to change the name from monkey king, has huge potential especially out of the bonus game when you get monkey wilds that can stick for hundreds of spins, its a much better version of lucky angler.

It's a typical Rigdrasil slot. Some Twitch streamer who will remain nameless seemingly loves this company because he wins lots of "money" on Rigdrasil slots seemingly every time.

Yes, they've revamped the game. It is new, but it's not - sort of like Microcloning 'new' games.

Mind you, (R)Yggdrasil isn't the only one that produces rigged slots:) All slots are rigged. more or less! Some just more blatant than others..
It's all pseudo-random at best, but that said, you are getting a fair game in general, and the advertised RTP's also hold up in the long run..

I personally like the Yggdrasil Games a lot, as some of 'em are really innovative, and they also throw around some nice extra cash incentives, for a third party operator, across many Casino's..
There's also the fact that most of their recent releases (since Cazino Zeppelin) have some huge potential, and they are quick, smooth and graphically pleasing.
You can't ask for much more from a slot provider, imho.

I love the 2 Viking games and Cazino Zeppelin, and i really like Golden Fish Tank, Orient Express (so far), Super Heroes and others a lot. I also think that aside from their innovations in the slots themselves, they are presenting loads of operators with a nifty tool, which allows them to grant players immediate entry into a Bonus Round: this is not unique to them, and they weren't the first, but they did 'improve' the way this was/is to be implemented. So, overall, they have a really impressive "CV" i.m.o. :)

On topic, like lotusch said: this isn't new, but was indeed renamed, i personally think it's because they like to do the 'themed' slots, and this was/is part of the 'Legend' series, much of which are based on fairytales and folklore from the Far East..i think 'Legend of' makes that clearer than just the title 'Monkey King', but i am not sure if this is actual the reason.

Not that important anyway, what counts is the slot itself, and i do think this is also quite nice: plenty of hit potential, loads of possible win streaks (s1 mentioned a twitch streamer, of which i think i saw a youtube vid, where he got a winning streak of like 14 minutes, with one single monkey bonus iirc) and of course great music and graphics.

Not their best release for me personally, but one that i do like p(l)aying every now and then: and that's how i think you should play most of their slots btw.: short sessions, and mostly hit and run after a top win or a streak of wins. I also recommend taking it easy with the betsizes, as they can be quite harsh.

They should have just kept it simple and called it

'king Monkey

Both humourous and to the point

I understand your p.o.v incrediblestuff and Ygdrassil is surely very pleasant for the eye.
But I have played their slots with some serious cash and every time I got torn a few new a-holes so to speak.
For example all the games that drop treasure chests within the FS have only given me stupid coin wins, you actually see the thing gimping from extra FS or a wild reel to the stupid coin win...

I just don't seem to be able to get ahead on their slots, except for Cazino Zeppelin which should be high variance like most of their slots.
Simple example, Golden Fish Tank which I played on multiple casino's and every single time I had to "invest" 400-500 Euro's before a decent win would come in.
I see these slots as the land based slots where you first have to fill the slot with money before it starts to give chunks of your investment back.

Some people might be lucky on these but I think for most people above scenario is very recognisable.

I have said it before, I would play their slots much more if I would feel I had a fair chance on them but they screw me over every single time.

Hi mate, sure, i get what you're saying! That bolded sentence i quoted is exactly in line with what i am saying: most players, regardless of software providers will see mostly losing sessions, and the bad end of the stick.
Think of it as this: let's say for example a slot has an RTP of 90% and the TRTP reaches a full loop on 1 million spins (it doesn't exactly work like that, but's lets just assume it does for arguments sake)

In a way if one million people started playing it at the same time, there would be 900.000 losing spins: this too is incorrect mathwise, but take it as some kind of 4-year old philosophical logic:lolup:
Still this is what you can expect as player..knowing there are millions of spins made whilst i am typing this, then u should realize how many losing spins are made worldwide, on each provider.

I hope i am not making a fool out of myself, but with 3 huge joints worth of THC in my brain, this was the best i could come up with!
Anyway, i know you like to make 1.50 to 3 euro spins preferably, and i also know your average depo is around 100? Usually, even with a decent bonus, that is not advisable on Yggdrasil slots:) Just like it isn't on Novo..
Most, if not all of these providers' slots have a knack for a lot of 'dead spinache' :p

Hence my comment about lowering betsizes accordingly..where we older players/veterans were used to MG average features of around 150 spins, and even less on NetEnt, now a lot of providers have plenty of slots that go without bonus for a few thousand spins even! that used to be quite rare, but now it is more common.

A lot of Yggdrasil (and Novo) are really dependant on a decent feature: Fish Tank for instance is basically purely about the feature, and it will on average take too long on 1.50 bets with a 300,- roll..
If you want to try those slots more, and hit some biggies, do a few spins per session, and move on quickly, or go at them like a real low roller:)

Just my point of view of course. If you don't want to play as such, i can respect that perfectly, but as said, i would stick to WMS, Netent, Play'n GO and MG then mostly, with an honourable mention for Quickspin and Thunderkick, however on those last two i would also bet a bit lower then usual.

I happen to already had a lot of 'beginners luck' on various yggdrasil slots, so i have seen their fun side first hand a plenty:) I also know there bad side though, and seen the long dead balance killing streaks as well, and of course i have lost plenty of deposits or already cashable amounts just hardheadedly trying to get a feature on a bigger bet :(

Live and learn my friend! That's the reason we stick to these forums:)

This game has been with V&J for ages. My experience is very similar to those mentioned above: tighter than a whistlers a** in a windstorm :D

I have played hundreds of thousands of spins on their slots and I agree with your assessment completely. I like to play $1.20-$2.50 bets on all slots. You know what I play on theirs which I really dont like but I dont have a choice if I dont want to lose thousands a day. 50 cents and maximum 75 cents. once and awhile ill do my usual stakes but always always always get killed.

Even on 50 cent bets im usually down $50 very quickly on their slots. Get a bonus and get most back. Rinse and repeat until it goes cold and lose it all.

24,000 spins on vikings go berserk to finally get rognorek spins. It paid me 60x. This is supposed to be the monster feature. Funny Ive won more on 7 free spins...no berserk. I do LOVE how in berserk mode or rog how the symbols just disappear every time. Ive had 21 freespins and 15. Please tell me when you are supposed to ever get a big hit on this slot? Rage boost? 40,000 spins and havent even hit that thing yet.

The way the base game plays, I guess the rtp is in the bonuses? O really? Base game rtp looks to be in 70% And the bonus rounds are usually 30x. The rtp for this game is high 80's imo

Will I keep playing it? Absolutely. Im a sucker.
