NetEnt used to have a reasonable bonus frequency. But now even the older games, much of them had a "visual" makeover mind you, have been near impossible to bonus.

Not even talking about what they've done to some games like Twin Spin which spins like it's on meth and that's on regular spins...

I'd say that DOA changed when they introduced the bonus buy.
The bonus frequency is wayyyy off what it used to be. Obviously to encourage players to BB rather than grind through the spins.

Completely forgot this game has that bonus but option available to some markets. The bonus frequency has been very noticable on my end, too. Was the first thing that sprung to mind. Even muttering out loud "wtf is going on?" at times with so many lengthy gaps between 1 bonus to the next.

Bit harder to say with BOD on 1 line if theres been any gimping going on since 1 line is uber high variance, but I was regularly (as seen in my previous rants in screenshots section) going through stages of 15 or 20 lots of free spins on 10's q's j's before one spin amongst the 150 or 200 combined spins on those symbols would finally drop in 5oak for 100x.
Just never used to be like that for me before the take down for autoplay removal on 1line on the 96% version. I used to feel there was a good chance of them dropping a 5oak during each set of free spins on those symbols, but thousands of features since the takedown for autoplay removal has left me with a raised brow.
I've convinced myself for a long while now those individual spins aren't random but, that's another conspiracy for another thread I guess.

TLDR: Snorkey is not infact a raging lunatic for his assumptions regarding bownansa. I wouldn't be suprised if many are skimming or adjusting bits here n there in order to make up for the way the industry is heading due to the ukgc and what not.

I never played Millionaire much but when I do it seems way tighter than when released and it has 100% had a makeover because I noticed that an option from ask the audience was 96% last time I played. The highest I ever saw previously was 89%.

Also, if you “walked away”, the answer was always the top percentage. Last time, I “walked away” the top option was 60% but it highlighted that would have been wrong and it was one of the lesser. Never, ever saw that in 4 years previous.

So, why have they changed it? Was it because they got a slap on the wrist behind closed doors? Can’t see why else they would bother changing it now after all this time. A bit the same as the SKY version of Bonanza, never showing a scatter in the 117 until it was highlighted several times on the forum. Next thing as if by magic, they start appearing but of course, there’s never anything mentioned in public.

And there never can be or will be because that can of worms is too big to be opened.

I think bonus buy is only for Doa2.
Atleast i have never seen it on Doa1 and bonus buys are allowed on the Swedish market.

But are they really using the bonus buy version of Doa2 for the UK market?
I know some sites switched over to that one and only have one available, but a couple of sites offer both versions for the Swedish market.
Since i dont buy bonuses i tend to stay away from the bonus buy version, also the reels spin a bit faster on the BB version, not played it enough to have any feel for if the bonus frequency has changed or not

Instead of Doa1 i would recommend Whos the bride, they did not speed up the reels when they did it for Doa, and there is only one version available as far as i know (96.82% rtp).

None of the sites i use have bonus buy available on Bonanza tho, and i couldnt find any info when i did a quick search just now.

It's not released yet, @dunover has been playing it in demo. He has a video about it on his YT channel too.

WWTBAM and Extra Chilli used to be quite generous in dishing out the regular 8 bonus rounds and have some decent wins in the basegame. I have had very good wins on both without gambling the bonus. Nowadays even with 16 spins you get nowhere, that is if you can even get the damn thing to trigger.
