Hi everybody, this is my first post here. Little background about myself, I am a longtime online poker player from the poker boom days. Started in 2006. Over the last few years have almost cut off poker completely as it is very time consuming and was mostly sports betting. Recently I have been playing a bit of online blackjack.

I've been playing at Sportsinteraction and have deposited a decent chunk of change I'd say close to $3000-4000 without ever having a withdrawal over the last few months.
Well I've gone on quite an insane heater and have ballooned my balance to just over 25k, 95% from blackjack, 5% from sports betting.
Anyway, purpose of this thread is not to brag or anything but to document the status of cashing out these large winnings.

So far I requested a withdrawal on Feb 20th, got a request for ID documents on the 21st. Sent those in on the 21st.
Got confirmation (from me asking through their live chat) that they have received the document. And told it will take up to 5 business days to process, that it is a first come first serve basis by security team and once it is processed the withdrawal will also be processed right away.
Made sure all bonuses and everything were cleared and no roll overs were required before cashing out. I am hopefully they can do this swiftly and without any issue, I know some casinos will try to delay and delay when large winnings are made.

I will keep this thread updated and keep you all posted.

Yup I agree - good casino. You'll be fine as long as you're on the right side of the T&C's. Congrats on a tidy win.

Update:
Have been speaking with Ross, and he has helped escalate the matter. I was requested for a new screenshot by the security team on the morning of 26th, sent it in immediately and Ross has said everything else is good to go.
Contacted live chat on the 27th, was told it would be looked at on that day. No email received saying it was reviewed.
Contacted live chat on the 28th, told that the document is on an agent's desk and will be reviewed by early afternoon today (28th).
Should just be a matter of time now.

SI is a great casino. When USA players could play there. It was my favorite playtech to play at. I once won over 10k on a $50 deposit. I was payed in full without any hassle.

No no, to clarify SIA calls a verified account - "registered". Apparently you aren't fully registered member until you get all documents verified.

Anyway I am very glad to report that my withdrawal has been approved and processed! I got a few more withdrawals to do, but these guys have been pretty spot on and Ross has been a great help.

congrats! how?

Wtg! imho, that's a damn tour de force .

Been playing online for many years, and I've never been able to reach beyond $2k, and that's w/a $25-$100 bet range, before it starts to whittle down.
So... before I came across your post, I didn't think such a balance was achievable online. I've always thought the only option with online bj21 was to grind it up to several hundred$, then withdraw. Obviously, I have been woefully unenlightened .

If you don't mind me asking about your "heater" in bj21, how'd you do it? Particularly:

1) did you use basic strategy, or mostly hunch betting?
2) how long did it take to build up the balance (weeks, months)?
3) what was your bet range ($5-$100, $10-$500)? or, just flat betting?
4) what discipline tactic did you find most useful (quitting when ___, increase/decrease bet when ___?
5) pls feel free to share a bit more as your mood dictates ;)

Thanks much.

Update:

Ok well this is kinda lame on SIA part, I'm not sure if this is standard practice or a slow pay.

I made my first withdrawal for $6500 and it got processed yesterday. I then followed that with another withdrawal for $7400. Which I was fully expecting to be processed by today.

I contacted live chat and was told that the $7400 withdrawal would not be processed for a full week - March 7th. Pretty much because they don't want to attract attention from banks?

Love: oh yes, but I also made a withdrawal for $7400 which still says pending
James: Ah yes. that will be sent out on the 7th of March. The Payment Team tends to spread out the withdrawals if you have more then one for a high amount.
Love: why so far away?
James: They usually do this to not attract too much attention from the bank.
Love: Really? So is it always going to be spaced out a week later?
James: Depending on if you have more then one for a high amount, they would space it out, yes.

I think this is BS because yes single transactions of $10k or more can cause a red flag with banks, however single transactions less than 10k are usually fine. I don't see why a full week is needed to space them out, maybe a day or two. It feels more like they want to keep me playing for as long as possible to dump my money back in.

Can people who have cashed out large amounts chime in on other casino policies on this?

Hmmmmmm. Paid one half OK (eventually) and let's see - 'we'll keep him waiting for the other payment, surely when the feelgood factor of the first payment hits his bank, he'll then be tempted to gamble it back'. Check their terms and conditions, and see if they have a max weekly cashout. I don't believe they do according to the accreditation info. If they don't, then this is BS and not how they should behave.

Their terms say nothing about weekly limits, only a $7500 per transaction daily limit. I don't mind waiting as long as I get it, but seems like I will have to pester them each time. And 4+ weeks to cashout seems excessive. I don't see why banks would care...ah

I'm going back to school doing an I.T college program and will need this to pay for tuition.

Just need patience

so...in the meantime, have you stopped playing altogether, or
you testing the waters to see if you still have a your hot streak going?

I actually kept playing and won some more, but now I will probably stop.
As for how I got there I pretty much used basic bj strategy but playing with extremely aggressive bet sizes. My risk of ruin odds were likely 95% lol, would be damn hard to replicate. But yea essentially kept raising bet amount as I won. Lots of luck. My smallest bets were $5, largest were $300.

ok, doesn't sound like it took you longer than a day

I suppose you didn't achieve it all in one long marathon session...

Congrats on your large Blackjack winnings! Reminds me of my winning times over 3 years ago!

Yes, there are reporting requirements for transactions larger than $10,000 but also the banks are aware that people would break up a large transaction to avoid the $10,000 threshold so patterns of unusual deposits adding up over $10,000 would be investigated too and be reported.

If the OP is questioned by his bank, just say it's from gambling winnings. Not illegal, and not taxable income here in Canada. SIA is doing NOTHING to protect the player by protracting paying his withdrawal.

My bank's prepaid Mastercard even lists gaming sites as one of its uses.

Has the OP had his first cashout it his a/c yet I wonder?

No, not yet. They said it was processed on Thursday and I should receive it this week Monday-Wednesday.

This is what I think too, I don't really understand the rationale. It is gambling winnings, and non taxable. Waiting an entire week between each transaction is a little much.
Hoping Ross is back on Monday and can help sort this all out.

As far as I know bank transactions exceeding 10K are to be reported to the govt, so maybe that's the logic, but still, so what..we don't pay taxes on them.

I missed the fact the OP lived in Canada. What I posted applied to United States.
