Decided to give this promotion a go and just finished my first 100 of wagering. However, contrary to most stories here, the slot was freakishly good to me.

I hit the feature 5 times in 203 spins, including a feature three spins after a previous one!

The free spins gave 32, 34, 27, 26 and 29 times the triggering bet for a total profit of 38 after the wagering. Anything in the scratchcard is going to be a bonus!

I noticed again that when I put my stake up, this time on hallowenies there was a delay after I pressed play.
It is obvious that it takes the stakes into account no matter how much people tell you otherwise.

I still reckon that MG payout % on slots probably is 90%+ overall but there is no way on God greens Earth that they are truely random.

There are now four daily prize draws which are ;

This promotion just got much worse if you ask me. And I notice it doesn't say how many winners each draw has.

And the single scratchcard I got? A losing one, of course!

There's no way anyone in their right mind would attempt to turn-over those amounts for such puny prizes!

Especially as most of us seem to have been getting only a 50-60% return on the thing.

I'm at work right now - but will check my stats later.
I do know that I played 13 days, and only came out ahead once
But so far I think I've only had 2 or 3 losing scratchcards...?
Maybe that's what the 'technical issue' is - gave away too much

i think everyone wins the draw, they just mean the prize each player has a chance to win depends on their play. whichever stream you fall into, you qualify (with probability 1/1) to win a prize of a (1/3), b (1/3), or c (1/3). the "draw" is simply a virtual hat with three balls (or any number of balls which are divided into three groups representing the different win amounts, in which case they could be weighting this hat to have a higher ratio of lower-paying balls, thus skewing the above probabilities of each prize to make a more likely than b more likely than c or whatever) from which one is drawn to choose each person's prize. imo it does not mean every player that meets criteria for whichever stream then has to be chosen from the pool of qualifying players to become eligible for a prize. i could be wrong but i still think doing the wagering secures you a prize no matter what, just they are creating these tiers to avoid giving out high prizes for lower amounts of play. good luck all you spinners!

oh nevermind i see the wording for the lower amounts is even different from the larger categories. hmmm, that does kinda sucky... good luck still!

that is not a 44% payout obviously as you would have won less than half the
amount you wagered for it to be so.
I calculate it at 80% approx

I wont be rumbling or grumbling because this saga has taken yet another twist!
As in my last post, I went ahead & played last night anyway (took over 1.5 hours due to diabolical connection), wagered 108 & lost another 10.
I still haven't been notified of the change, but today I found this e-mail waiting for me:-

Well it didn't say how much, so I logged into the casino to see and was pleasantly surprised as my balance had gone up by a lot more than the maximum it's supposed to be according to the new rules.
I hope Ladbrokes aren't reading this thread, cos it looks like they messed up again!
I'm wondering if they've accidentally counted all my wagering this month, not just yesterday.

Well now I'm VERY glad I carried on - payback time!

May-16th:-
Took 58 spins to get the first feature, but then got FIVE in the space of 85 spins!
Being a cautious low-roller, I resisted the temptation to up the bets after each
Features paid (in order) x26, x17, x26, x31, x45.
Then 18 spins after that last one, I hit a nice little regular win (below).
Overall: Spins 203. Wagered 129. Return +139!
That will bring my stats up a bit!

I see you're playing only 9-lines - that's even more conservative than my 17-lines.
That makes those near misses even more annoying!

You get more spins for your money at the same bet/line;
The feature hits on average once every 140-150 spins no matter how many lines you bet on, so you're likely to see more for the same cost.
If you catch a big win it is proportionally bigger to the total cost of the spin with the less lines you play.

These factors do not effect the overall payout %, but many players prefer to play this way for the reasons mentioned above.

Was low-rolling it because let's face it, it's been pretty crap...

No more scratchcards but I have been winning dosh in the 'random draws' most days.

Well no scratchies - but I seem to be winning random prizes every day - and it's a lot more than you might expect!
Definitely worth carrying on with this promo, despite my first reaction to the prize structure.

You must have a special arrangement with Ladbrokes because I am still getting around 40% returns all slots.
Just played Aztec ritches 25 free spins= 1 win line 999 lowest possible.
Loaded took 16 free spins=no win lines just 2 scatter wins.
That was enough for me.
