Ladbrokes rep hasn't logged in since 28 April they haven't installed any new games since December can anyone in the know investigate are they perhaps thinking of getting rid of MG software and looking elsewhere?

I contacted help yesterday and they had not heard of any new games available elsewhere and just said maybe they didn't have the licence for them.

Something is going on why would they miss out on the 3d games promotion?

Hello you,

I just posted this in another thread (2 min before you started this thread :) ) :

LADBROKES PLC

Notification of New Contract

LADBROKES SIGNS NEW SUPPLY AGREEMENT WITH MICROGAMING

Ladbrokes, one of the world's leading betting and gaming companies has signed a new platform and content supply agreement with Microgaming, the world's largest provider of online gaming software.

Under new commercial terms Micrograming will supply casino and games software to Ladbrokes' leading betting and gaming website www.ladbrokes.com

The new terms offer both parties revenue growth opportunities and will enable Ladbrokes to provide its customers with a premium range of content and product.

Richard Glynn, Ladbrokes CEO commented: "This agreement reflects our ongoing objective to offer customers the best products in the market place through more flexible supplier relationships which offer increased opportunities for growth. Microgaming has a proven track record and product range and this new agreement offers us the opportunity to maximise our relationship in the future."

Roger Raatgever, CEO of Microgaming said: "We have had a long and successful association with Ladbrokes; this new agreement will enable us to continue working closely together to enable Ladbrokes to provide a market leading casino offering and extend the reach of our products across all Ladbrokes channels. We are proud that Microgaming has supplied online gaming software to Ladbrokes for over 10 years and we look forward to a continued prosperous relationship."

This latest key supplier contract follows Ladbrokes agreement with Global Draw last year, for the supply of new gaming machines to Ladbrokes retail estate. The rollout of the new machines was completed at the end of May, one month ahead of schedule.

Ladbrokes is continuing discussions with a number of other suppliers and expects to confirm new agreements in the coming months

That can't be the WHOLE story though, because other casinos don't suddenly stop getting new games when their contract comes up for renewal, it is all done behind the scenes.
Other casinos don't issue a press release either every time they renew their contract with MGS.

It looks like Microgaming had a fight on their hands to win the contract this time, so since December Ladbrokes were operating "off contract" whilst negotiations were taking place, so didn't receive any new games because Microgaming was NOT going to supply them until a renewed contract had been agreed and signed. They will no doubt all appear at once following this new agreement.

I believe the aborted purchase of 888.com by Ladbrokes is the reason they didn't simply renew their contract with MGS in January, and this was because Ladbrokes intended to switch to Cassava software for all their products once the deal had gone through. Since the deal did NOT go through, Ladbrokes had to start looking for an alternative supplier, and have now decided to stick with Microgaming, and put together what they believe will be a "premium package" that will draw players to Ladbrokes casino over the other MGS brands.

Funny thing is, they USED to have such a "premium package" on offer for players, but they systematically crippled it through a "death of a thousand cuts", ending with no new games for 6 months.
Ladbrokes also have this attitude that EVERY player that uses a webwallet is out to defraud them in some way, so players who use such wallets are treated like s***, and many decided to uninstall the Ladbrokes casino. I did this almost 3 years ago, and every time I check back they STILL seem to treat players like me like "third class customers" purely on the grounds that I use Neteller, and not a credit card, to deposit.

A loyalty points scheme would be a start never known any casino that doesn't have some sort of scheme or more bonuses to compensate. The only real advantage of Ladbrokes is the immediate withdrawl but they need more.

This is not an ordinary press release, it is a notification from London Stock Exchange. Larger contracts etc must be publicly announced (by law)

But I agree, it has probably been a dispute over some time.

The press release was a general one to media.

There's a great deal of uncorroborated speculation in this thread, I have to say.

"doesn't have some sort of scheme or more bonuses to compensate" :what:
I have NEVER come across a casino with more generous bonuses!
For example, last month: Deposit £100, play £100 worth of bets on Blackjack, get a £100 bonus with WR only x10 (if slots played).
They can keep their comp points as far as I'm concerned.
If you know any casinos with better bonus terms, I'm all ears!

Yeah, you're right -that sucks. :(

Yep, almost all of Ladbrokes promotions are only interesting/available for UK players who deposit with creditcards.

I have 2 major red flags on my account:

1. I live in Holland
2. I deposit with Neteller.

Wrong, very wrong.:(

I've seldom closed accounts, but the way the Ladbrokes handled the Canadian currency and exchance seemed odd. Regardless of exchange rate, I got 1/2 my money in "credits". I'm sure it would have evened out in the end, but I didnt' stick around long enough for a withdrawal. Many of my fav slots are 30 cents, so my bet became 60 cents, and no 90 cent increment.

I told them I didn't feel I got my best gambling bang for my buck, and I'm welcome to rejoin.

Really positive experiences from other players led me to join, but I don't think they are a viable option in CAD.

We are a relative small market in Canada, but we have few problems government-wise, and other MG casinos deal with currency differently.

i to once had a long exchanging emails with them about currency, as my neteller is in dollars and when depositing they exchange it to pound i did mail them and asked them what exchance rate they were using :) and after about a week or so they accepted it had been wrong and credit my account think it was about 80£ :)

It doesn't just suck, it is predatory. often it is IMPOSSIBLE to make 20x WR on the amount of your deposit because you go bust trying. Ladbrokes DON'T take this into account, and if you redeposit you have to start over. You are not even allowed to deposit MORE than the promotion asks for as this 20x WR applies to the ENTIRE amount, and not just the amount needed to qualify for the promotion.

Worse, you CANNOT even use money in your sports purse to avoid this, however you got it there (deposit, poker, sports bet win).

It is effectively a ban on Neteller and Moneybookers players from qualifying for the offers, but rather than state this outright, they use a predatory system to make them think they can still be eligible, but which is next to impossible to achieve.

This "bonus abuse" excuse is bollocks. Even "innocent" players who use these methods suffer, and this takes no account of their prior playing history.

They fail to understand that you can "abuse a bonus" just as easily from a debit card deposit, but Ladbrokes seem happy to let such players "abuse away" to their heart's content.
This lets the "guilty" carry on abusing bonuses simply by switching deposit methods, yet punishes the innocent who are not prepared to go to such lengths just to "abuse" a few quid more out of Ladbrokes.

They then pile on further punishment by stating that withdrawals resulting from methods other than Neteller/Moneybookers will only be sent by cheque. Even the abilty to withdraw over the counter at betting shops has been ditched.

The 20x requirement for Neteller deposits even seems to apply where NO bonus has been taken, nor promotion claimed, as they will "deduct fees" from such deposits not rolled over 20x.
This implies that a deposit of £100 from Neteller has to generate £2000 in turnover before it can be withdrawn, even without any bonus having been claimed. They don't even have the miserly compensation of comp points, which would offer £20 for £2000 turned over on the slots.

There doesn't seem to be any eWallet alternative to Neteller for their target market, which seems to be the UK and Europe.

Although all this is laid out in the terms, it gives the misleading impression that there is only a minor imposition placed on Neteller and Moneybookers players, whereas the maths shows it to be a MASSIVE one, and one likely to be impossible to achieve.

I am beginning to think they are taking advice from Ryanair:rolleyes:

Ryanair are known for manipulating aviation rules to the extreme, and setting up hoops that mean most customers never see the prices advertised. As soon as customers learn to navigate all the twists and turns needed to get the advertised prices, the rules are changed in order to negate their efforts.
They have had numerous bollockings from the UK and EU regulators, but have managed to manipulate the system so as to carry on pretending to be much cheaper than the rest. It is only those "abusive flyers" that manage to fly for those insane prices.

The "bonus abusers" at Ladbrokes will be doing the same, and will have switched tactics in order to carry on milking the generous boni.

I am an "abusive flyer" and have not been banned yet. :D

They don't ban, they change the rules.

They are now charging for HAND baggage, but the loophole is to stuff everything into your pockets, and say you are not taking ANY luggage.

They have also switched the fee free payment method away from Electron because too many customers ended up getting one. They claimed the card had been withdrawn, which turned out to be bullshit. Now, you need the obscure (unless you gamble) Net+ card issued by Neteller to avoid the £5 TAX imposed per person per leg, which has NOTHING to do with actual processing costs, but is used as a way to make a headline 1p return flight cost a minimum of £10.01 per person with no luggage, and no need to take a p*** on the flight. They also charge a fortune for drinks, knowing that anti-terrorist rules have stopped passengers bringing their own bottled water onto the plane.
Everyone also has to pay a charge to cater for the supply of wheelchairs, as when they charged "per use" they got one of their bigger bollockings under disability discrimination laws. The loophole is that if they charge everybody for wheelchairs, they are not discriminating. The other is that they only need ONE means to have the £5 card fee waived, and they no longer have to include this in the price of the flight when advertised.

When everyone has a Net+ card, they will just change the rules again, and pick another obscure card that no-one has.

Can I just ask... How do you actually get a bonus from Ladbrokes?
I've been playing there for years and have deposited so much I'm amazed I'm not a VIP, but have only ever received a £25 'new player bonus' or whatever it was.
I'm not that bothered, nor do I desperately need a bonus, I'm just curious. I've been convinced Ladbrokes don't actually give out anything more than the aforementioned new player bonus...
