Sometimes you have to think Jeremy Corbyn is winding up the people who actually vote for him deliberately.

Is it corbyn's hobby horse or tom watson's though?

the part where it says

"Watson said a new "E category" would be added to the four categories of physical gaming machines, again linking the stake limits to casino and slots gambling."

sounds to me like a plan being thought out by the civil service/ukgc and they've got watson, an ally to this cause, to float the idea to the industry to gauge the response, the kind of detail re categories seems to me not the sort of thing politicians think of but ukgc would.

It's what folk predicted, online limits for slots although this article headline seems to focus on horse racing bets

Definitely Watson's crusade. He has not been shy about it and is on the verge of being vehemently anti gambling, all aspects of it.
