Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but it looks like your (lowest) limits now apply across the licence (in the UK, at least).

Could just be me, of course, but I tried two L&L sites last night, and both had my monthly limit at £7, which I didn't set (though probably did on another site by accident/temporarily.)

If it's a permanent change, it's a little annoying, as I like each site to have different limits for different reasons. Could also be a glitch!

Definitely not a glitch. I pm'd Jan about it last week.
I normally spend around £300 a month, spread across all the L&L sites, Most of them are set so I only make one deposit a month, except Hyper where I deposit weekly. Which is the way I prefer to budget.
Having a £300 monthly limit across all sites wouldn't work for me, especially where Hyper is concerned. I could see me blowing the £300 in the first week or so, and then either having to increase the limit or not being to deposit weekly at Hyper.
It's not a matter of what I can afford to deposit, but what I'm happy to deposit and lose.

Also, I'd guess that their 'arbitrary' SOW threshold will now be based on the total deposits across all brands, rather than individual sites.

It might have also been nice to email customers to warn them about the changes, rather than leaving it to customers to find out for themselves.

I bet CS will be pretty busy for a while

All this coupled with the lower RTP new games they're sneaking in, means I no longer play at any L&L sites

Aye, seems you budget in a similar way to me. I prefer a higher limit at the sites with layouts I like, oddly - I prefer the old-school style of All British and Casino Casino, and the more modern style at Yeti.

A blanket limit isn't really the best way of doing this.

Hi Dan,

Yes we completed yesterday a single deposit limit for UK players. This was a comment during the last assesment by de UKGC and given our in general low risk appetite, we applied it.

So your deposit limits are synced.

I see you increased them and tonight the new limit is in place for all accounts.

I'm sorry as this will give some hassle in the beginning, especially if you have a forgotten account with a low limit imposed.

Hope your not mad at me?

Kr. Jan

Fair enough, as I say, it's a bit inconvenient but not a deal-breaker. It looks like another bright idea/suggestion from the UKGC which probably won't have the positive effect they intended - I can well suspect that some people will be upping their limits well beyond what they would if they were still for the individual sites.

How about £200 bonuses with no wagering all round to make up for it? :D

well, I've increased my limits and switched some accounts from monthly to weekly at some of the other sites I play at.
The ones with full RTP Unibet, Novibet etc

Sorry L&L. But it's goodbye from me

I was happy playing at L&L until their Safer Gambling team suddenly decided to impose deposit limits of £400 a month and loss limits of £200 a month despite me providing SOW documentation showing i could afford a much higher figure. It was bad enough trying to keep track as i have accounts at All British,Fun,Hyper and Yako and there was at least one occasion when i had just started playing when the loss limit kicked and my balance was stuck for around a month before i could play again.
I assume these single deposit limits now mean that i am restricted to total deposits/losses of £400/£200 across all four casinos so it really isn't worth the bother any more.

£7 a month? that's pisstakingly low even for a low roller. Most casinos have minimum of £10 for depositing.
I usually set £60-£100 a week per casino which is fine most of the time but will easily meet it if on a lucky streak.

My advice to anyone from the UK would be to set your own reasonable limits before stupidly low casino set limits are forced on you.

The only place I have not done that is VS because sometimes battle wagering takes more than expected if the per session RTPs suck.

21casino is L&L isnt it? still have £100 limit but haven't played there in ages.

No idea. Never played at an L&L casino in my life.

It's quite obvious that sooner or later the UKGC want everyone to have deposit/loss limits set. I figure it just saves a lot of hassle to set them yourself without having some over-eager casino employee setting it at £2.70 a week or something ridiculous like that.

21casino is White Hat Gaming.
The problem with trying to set your own limits (at least with L&L) is if their Safer Gambling team decide you can't afford or can't supply evidence that you can afford those limits they will simply revert you back.

That makes no sense. Why would someone willingly set a limit to more than they could afford in the first place?? Fair enough if a casino imposed limit is increased- that will trigger an alarm, just as it would if you increased a limit you'd previously set yourself.

Do the not realize that gambling can go both ways? we can win as well as lose and as such will sometimes have more money to deposit.

The £7 wasn’t L&L - I think I lowered the limit on one site ages ago so I could still play but not deposit more. And they use sliders, so setting a figure is often really bloody difficult. I probably wanted £10, and after a few minutes of trying gave up and settled on £7

Hello Souldragon,
I'd firstly like to offer my sincerest apologies here for this unpleasant experience with Hyper.
Our team is constantly working on improving our service and we would like to make your gambling experience comfortable and exciting. I would be happy to assist you with this issue. Would you please kindly provide me with the email address that was used for your account? So we can investigate this question and find the best solution for you. Looking forward to your reply and thank you in advance!

This message has rather puzzled me and i have sent a PM back before disclosing any other information.I have never heard of Julia AffiliateRush or how she (?) is connected with Hyper as i believed all CM content came through Jan.Notice this person only joined Casinomeister today, can anyone shed any further light?

wtf £7 quit limit? pack of cigarets is like £14 quit

L&L used to be my go to sites until they imposed a ridiculously low monthly limit which decided me to close all accounts except that at Hyper. Then recently they were demanding documentary evidence from an app based savings account which was long closed, for which i didn;t have any evidence to show and i certainly wasn't going to go back to the savings provider to try and get what they required. i am sure the provider would have wanted to know why i needed evidence from an account that is now closed. So it is bye bye for ever to L&L.
Jan is a brilliant rep and has helped me out on more than one occasion but i not prepared to go through all the hassle any longer.
