L&L closing accounts and requesting Source of Wealth

    I was very surprised to wake up to find an email my account is closed and they need source of wealth from me.

    I was fully verified had cashouts approved. And suddenly they say I am flagged for source of wealth.

    As far as I am aware unless things have changed this does not apply to Canadians and was only a policy adopted this year by the UKGC.


    I of course refuse to do this as anyone who knows me knows I do not stand for this type of behavior. And the casino response is my account will remained closed until I provide my finances to them.

    I spoke to the gaming commission in question and the agent told me this is not a policy for Canada. But L&L is stating it is.


    No worries, they will pay you any balance and not withhold it but once they request it your account is closed until your finances are given to them. They did send me my cashout and then close my account so fair play there.

    But this seems like a case of being overzealous.

    Far better they do it the correct way, namely pre-deposit.......even if not required by law to do so :eek2:

    But as is the case with that sort of email, after years of verification, it'd be "Bye bye buster" from me, I can take it or leave it :D

    Yikes. I signed up to Casino Casino a few days ago and have had two cashouts so far using Ecopayz. They aren't big so I haven't crossed the 2300+ Euro threshold yet, but this would concern me. @BillyBonanza did mention on his stream that they are strict about what documents and such that they want. If this is true ( And it seems to be so by this thread ), it will be the only casino that I have played at to give me grief once it happens to me. :/

    my WD is well under that (Casinocasino) and I havent even initiated yet and got the email for doc request - and I'm hoping it isnt a big headache (well, a bigger one that it's already becoming); it would turn me off the entire group

    I am awaiting a answer how to withdraw at all? Don't know how you got ecopayz as a option, Everything is greyed out for me except bank transfer which paying about 30.00 is not a option unless it's a big withdrawal. I got a boost over starting deposit via one slot and wanted to do a small withdraw but no options to withdraw at the moment.

    You have to deposit using Ecopayz in order to cash out to it. It is how most casinos operate when it comes to what method you use. It says on most sites it is either your most used method or your most recent one must be withdrawn back the same way unless it can't be done so then it would be bank transfer for example depositing with paysafe cards or using prepaid Visa / MasterCards as that method won't work for Canadians if you were to try and cashout to them.

    well, I've sent them evrything (ID) and then some and as clear as day - and frankly redundant copies so they should be fine.
    that is, all except the prepaid CC - ive a handful of them here and id check my transaction history in the casino to see which card...but, hey, locked out :eek2:

    If everything checks out, they usually take about 24 hours before you are payed from what I have experienced so far for both of my withdraws.

    Yeah they pay guys just really strict with documents and locking accounts until they get it. They have great reps here and are accredited so dont be too alarmed.

    Annoying a/f though

    If you deposit via prepaid this is what is initiating the source of wealth flags. I dont think they are used to prepaid and for some reason start to panic. Once verified you wont be bothered again.

    Huge headache and they really need to change this because it is going to turn players off big time.

    locking accounts whilst awaiting verification is ridiculous - especially if youve deposited and havent initiated a withdraw....great for the casino...

    i can understand BEFORE deposit OR AFTER putting in for a withdrawal...

    also, the prepaids, really, there's no excuse for that
    1 it cant be all that new to them; everyone in this thread is Canadian
    2. every casino knows they can check the BIN list and it tells you it's a prepaid and what type simply by the first 4 digits of the card - it's less than 15 seconds of work..if they accept them as a deposit option then they should become familiar with them.
    You buy it at a store, you deposit, card is empty and non-refundable, you chuck it

    anyway, I only had some issues today and when they were out of office (there's still casinos without 24/7 support, even email?) but hoping it's sorted tomorrow and a non-issue

    I sen LOADS of docs hours ago and asked suport on their status - who in turn asked me to send docs

    here's a snippet - my response at bottom

    This can be verified by sending a coloured photo of a recent utility bill (e.g. water/electricity/phone bill) which meets the following requirements:

    1. As long as your full name, postal address and the document date of issue is showing then any of these documents above are acceptable as proof of address. You are allowed to cover personal information.
    2. All four corners of the documents must be showing, without folding it as we require a complete document.
    3. Note that the document must have a date of issue that is not older than 3 months.
    4. Digital documents can also be accepted.

    Master Card: xxxx ( missing)
    As you have made a deposit with your credit card we need to request a coloured photo of this card as well. Please make sure it meets the following requirements:

    1. All 4 corners of the documents must be showing as we require a complete document.
    2. We need a copy of the front and the back of the card with a signature.
    3. The card must be signed by the card owner.

    proof of residence - you have a screenshot of my bank, better proof than any mail, and i even sent you mail with date, showing my name, acct number, date and address - i rent and live with my mother - utilities dont come in my name

    without holding it? That's the BEST possible proof it's physical mail

    every piece of ducument has a current date

    I REPEATEDLY asked for requests of last 4 digits of the CC (theyre disposable CCs - i have handfuls, i need to know which you require

    I sent you bank statements - you allow online ones - it HAS the current date, my name, address and acct number

    these were all sent hours ago to CasinoCasino support (service@casinocasino.com)

    Just to say, unless I'm looking at the wrong bit, it says without folding it not holding it, so you send a full page, not only half a document :)

    Got my withdrawal in hours or same time as what vs does.

    I am out if itisgoing to be a big headache for documents though in the future.
