KYC Selfie?

    Hi!

    I have playthrough a bonus and after that i want to make a withdrawal, after that i go to chat and ask for "flush" my withdrawal.
    Than i have send all my documents for KYC: ID front and back, a bill and a screenshot from my bank for my deposit.
    Now the CSA means: You must send a "selfie" too with your ID in your hand :eek2:

    He put my funds back into my account, 3 times till now!!!

    My question: I MUST send a selfie???
    I don't want to do this, i don't like this and i have never heard such a stupid thing before.

    Without "selfie" NO payout :-(
    It sounds terrible!

    Is this normal??

    Ive carried out the KYC procedure many times but never asked to hold up ID for a selfie

    It's not common but it happens, more and more. Some people have even been forced to do it to get verified at Neteller so it's spreading.
    You will have to do it to get paid, I'm sure of it, so just pick up your camera and make sure you look like you do on your ID.

    Of course not, but they should be able to see that it's the same person anyway :)

    There is a lot of fraudsters out there too so some places are more careful. I know it feels humiliating but just do it and get your money.

    It's not common as I said but I've read a lot of members here over the years have been forced to do it. If that is what they say they need to pay you, then you really have no other choice. Getting angry or refusing will definately not help.
    I thought everyone was used to taking selfies these days :p

    This is quite common. Its to make sure the actual person on the ID is the one of the account. Nowadays, there is a new kind of crime where people steal your identity and pretend to be you online.

    I haven't read everyone else's replies before responding.

    But it's not that bizarre an anti-fraud measure to request anymore.

    And it's not hard to comply with for most people in this age of camera phones.

    If you really want to push it, you could probably get the casino to accept notarized documents, which WILL cost you money and inconvenience. They have that right.

    It's probably not a stalling technique, because your ability to comply is pretty quick.

    I went through this once and once only several years ago, as did a few other players, when this was relatively new. At that time I did not have a camera phone, had to arrange someone doing it with a digital camera.

    Fraudsters have been caught with hundreds of stolen IDs. For both you and the casino, this is a low cost and quick way to verify you are the same person in the picture.

    So much easier and cheaper for you to comply with than carting it down to be notarized and sending it off that way.

    Trust me, if someone in the back office laughs at your 80's mohawk dyed peacock colours, it won't affect your life as much as getting your cashout easily and quickly.

    If you provide it, and they give you a hard time because you had a beard in your passport from two years ago and you are clean shaven now, come back and complain.

    Ok, i have upload a selfie.
    But: I must do this 4x ... really, 4 times before i could make a cashout. The CSA told me: The pic doesn't look good :eek::eek::eek:
    And i must make the withdrawal 7 times. Everytime my withdrawal was going back into my casino account.

    Dreadful!

    You should be playing at one of our Accredited casinos. If this was the case, we could counsel them on the proper way to deal with this sort of situation. They should not be placing your funds back into play mode. Sounds like a stall tactic to me.
