Sometimes I get carried away, when I'm ahead, like last night, I was in £100 profit, I kept playing and eventually got busted out and completely fed up:()

Just for clarity, who else here in the forum has done this and not followed their gut instinct??

Thanks, Mary x

I need to read that sentence 10000 more times, and who knows it'll sink in, cause i do it all day everyday :(

Well this was the first time in 3 months that I've made this mistake but the last month I've been able to hit withdraw, mainly due to the piss poor playtime I was having before this LOL. I just hope that I haven't broken the nice run of luck I've been having:eek2: I DON'T want to go back to losing:rolleyes:

I think what we need to do is walk out of the room and think about what good the money that has been already won will do, then go back in and straight to WITHDRAW!!

I did it recently as you know. By mistake. 33 or 34 spins on a $3 betsize :D

I have done what you did many times before. Now I always cash out a part of my money, and leave some to play on.
If I don't do that, I'm not always strong enough to not reverse.
So far so good.

I have been doing this Tirilej, ie cashing out some, but I just forgot to last night, I have been kicking myself all day saying to myself, why didn't I withdraw half and leave the other half to play on, ugh I don't want to dwell on it but I have done this many times, it's nicer to have a big win all at once like £1000 or so and withdraw the lot that's the reason I kept playing on, in the hope, y'know:rolleyes: sigh.

I play at Ladbrokes and Boyle casino, mainly because there is no reverse button, and money has been back to my debit card in 2 days so I have something to look forward to but not too long to wait for:cool: which is:cool:

Do you know what I think is so great about what you write?
You understand that you only have yourself to blame. You don't take it out on the casino:thumbsup:
Just don't keep blaming yourself. Realize that your just human and move on. We have all done it.
Next time you will remember:)

I think the answer to you question is every single one of us- my worst was playing off 1800 while I waited for the iterminable no weekend at 48hr helpfull revesal period at a microgaiming- These days unless I have enough funds to deposit at another casino I avoid playing weekends at casinos that don't flush or take moe than 24hrs - which means a lot of my weekend play is at the 32red group of casinos- the forced self control of flushing is much more effective than my own (LOL)

I have tried this so many times as well

Had some great wins at 32RED last couple months. Like my big win on The Dark Knight where I had bit over 400$, something told me you need to withdraw 400$ now and continue with rest. Then another thought straight came no withdraw 300$ leaves you more to play with. Finally hmmm Lets just play with the whole lot and try bigger bets :D

Ended up loosing it all. :( But yes every time it is our own fault. For not taking our win and bagging it.

I have had some crazy wins this year. I have started telling my fiancee and then withdrawing and giving to her for me. So I keep money away. Like early this month. I said I will pay for the new steam cleaner. Gave her £140 for that. Later this month I ended up wasting my profit away. But at least I spent money on something good like pleasing my girl

I don't know what it is. But when I have tried winning some good prizes. Where I maybe should had cashed out. Then strangly within couple of weeks or month after. I suddenly hit a crazy big win again. Like I always get a 2nd chance. But I don't always seem to understand. HEY this is another chance for you BANK IT this time :p

Like last week again at 32RED I made a 20$ deposit into around 120$ and again said. Bank 100$ continue with rest. But then on other hand, I though this is a chance to try bigger bets. So I said okay lets got for the big one

So changed and made 6$ bet on The Dark Knight. It took me all down to around 50$ where I changed back to smaller bets. Just for the remaining to go away.

Also I have noticed a lot. It seems when I hit something big and crazy. It is always so very close of instead a win in the 1-500$ range. That just that last symbol would had made it 3000$-10000$ or more.

Oh well maybe one day I will hit a win that you always read about and see videos of. I sure am manifesting this and working hard with my own "extra" work as an affiliate.

Because my dream is to get married with my girl next summer. Also be able to finace a house and rest which comes with it.

I think in regards to gambling and playing slots. Which is my favorite. I used to play lot of poker but stopped that as well.
Then maybe it is better taking the deposit bonuses. Like CWC gives a lot of good offers to me at moment with low wagering requirements.
And I also get similar offers from some other places.

So my idea is maybe I should take those offers and try them. As long they dont carry any max withdrawal. (I don't normal play with deposit bonuses. I always stick to Cash deposit with no deposit or wagering attached)

Because then your able to go for the BIG win which can change a lifetime. As you are tied up to wagering anyway. My idea is as soon you reach wagering you cash out all of it. This is what I will try and do from now on.

I wish all and every one of you all the best of luck rest of this year. Maybe we should make a special thread called something like "Help Should I cashout now" Or something like that. Where I one of us hits something nice. And we get into panic mode, where we maybe feel its time to cashout or maybe part of it. Then we would have this thread to post in and get advise and help from our good friends here at Casinomiester.

Just and idea am I being to silly?

I think that is a great idea, I too am like you, my gut feeling tells me that I should cash out, like a churning feeling in my stomach, then other times I have this really good feeling that I'm going to win something worth talking about, it's nice to know I'm not alone.

Yes exactly ;) The problem is also we don't know what is waiting around the corner if we continue :)
But yes cashing out half or most is a good thing. But I sometimes think hmm I am just gonna deposit more the next weeks anyway

Ha, I finally cashed out...for REAL! cashed out $680...guess who I gave it back to as soon as it hit my bank account?

Yay CW, for you, I live on PB & J sandwiches... :D

I don't often cash out $100, and if I do it's usually with the goal of having it to Skrill to play again with, usually with a bonus. I will make a smaller than usual cashout at a new place I'm playing to see how the withdrawal process and verification go however.

Most typically, I'll cash out at $250. And I strive to spend at least half of it not gambling if I've requested a payback to my credit card. If I request a payback to Skrill, it is usually played with, unless it's a sum I consider worth paying the incoming wire fee my bank changes, ($15), I won't usually bother for under $600 unless there is something pressing I want the funds for. I do however try to make those funds last a few deposits, maybe even taking some smaller profits aiming for an amount worth wiring.

Fees add a lot to the cost of us gambling and too many small deposits and withdrawals end up costing us a lot percentage wise, especially since these are often set fees. These costs are even greater for US players usually.

No one ever starts a thread beating themselves up for cashing out however, no matter how small the amount. ;)

I might should start doing just that. I always cash out a little, save some and try to win more, cashing out a little again and so on...until I don't want to play anymore. Then I cash out everything or just blew it away on a game betting higher (lost a lot that way)
That way of cashing out is working perfectly at 32Red, but playing at Nordicbet trying to do the same cost me a lot.
I still did it, ending up cashing out $1400, but every cashout to Neteller costed me some dollars.
Only one free per month.

The worst I can do is have a lot in my account because that makes me bet higher. I can win, but I almost always just have lost faster...so I stopped doing that, and I'm doing much better now:)

I gambled back several $300-$400 wins last year and I'm in such a dry spell right now I'm looking back on those and kind of kicking myself too. What you have to do is next time you're ahead and you're thinking "should I cash out now or keep going?" remember how you feel today.

I was actually in the habit of cashing out when I hit 10x my deposit - I usually don't do very big deposits, so if I deposit $20 and can get $200, then that's 10 deposits I can make somewhere else. But then I hit a few good things on low bets and thought, "Hmmm if I'd been betting $2 or $4...." which was my downfall I think. My play has sucked so bad lately I'm thinking I'll cash out if I can DOUBLE my deposit!

Anyhow you can't beat yourself up about it, just learn from it and move on. Your next win could be right around the corner.

You're asking the wrong question.

"When do I cashout?" isn't relevant.

"When should I deposit?" is.

I think it is important to go into every session with a goal in mind. That goal may vary from session to session, but there should be a goal.

Often for me, the goal is to play until I'm ready to go to bed. And since I often take bonuses, part of that goal is to cashout by bedtime.

I honestly don't usually sleep well with a balance in my account. Unless it's after a cashout and I've left some to play the next day.

And I think it is important to have plans for the cashout when it happens. Even if that goal is just to play again, or on different platforms. Or to hit the liquor store and restock the cabinet.

Almost always part of my plan for a cashout is to play again. It is something I really enjoy, and cashouts help keep it to to a reasonable amount.

I regard every deposit as lost when I deposit. But I still have on my desk the record of how I blew back a $2300 win at a time I could have really used it five years ago, before i joined CM.

I limit my ability to play at whim. I know what I am like, and I have no instant access to my bank account, and when I do get a decent cashout, I spend some it. Quickly, before I gamble it all back. Usually on things I could afford if I didn't gamble at all to be honest.

But I would have ordered takeout, or gone out on a Friday night for some drinks rather than save it for some big purchases. For weeks and weeks upon end.

If you gamble what you can afford to lose, it's not so upsetting when you lose.

There was a time in my life, before online, where I did gamble more than I could afford to lose.

When you hit a good balance, you should consider if the amount won is important for you. I learnt my lesson the hard way a few years ago after having hit a Jackpot of 2K+. It felt good and I continued to play and eventually lost it all. I felt really bad the next day but I remembered that feeling well. Since then whenever I hit big, my finger is lightning-fast on the cashout button.

Cheers

I am sure we have all committed the same mistake though there are some who who are more prone than others. Even KK, who remains level-headed and maintains discipline will fall victim to an irresistible urge to play more. This sense of guilt will in a way be beneficial to you as if and when you suddenly hit big you will remember what you did and cash out instead of succumbing to a desire to play more/win more. That $100 may, in the long run, prove to be an amount well spent.

It seems like most times I deposit. I always manage to double my deposit just by playing slots :)
When I make small deposits in range of £/$/€10-35. But I always continue and sometimes get even higher. Where I try and set a limit. Like okay if I get over 100 then I will withdraw 100 and continue with rest. But it just seems damn hard every time to do that :D

Maybe my plan should be to try make the deposits in range 10-35 on my favorite casinos. And this time just cash out after deposit has doubled. Of course after I have at least played through my deposit 1x.

And then all my profit will be put aside. And used on one big deposit where I will make $3 or £3 pound bets on a slot.
As then I will get a chance of a big win instead of again wasting small deposits after deposits.

It might not make much sense what I have just written :D But hope you get my idea. I know this will not work in practise as yes it is all about luck. But it is just like I have a lucky thing with always picking the right first 2-3 slots when I play with small deposits.

I will be much much wiser this weekend. And will give update how it goes ;)

I deposited £20 into Laddy's last night and got my balance up to £188, well what do you think, I WITHDREW £100:D

With the other £88 I decided to play the dark knight, played a few 60p spins, then said fk it and hit max bet, 4 or 5 spins later I got a big win of £135, my balance now at £170, kept playing £3 spins, managed to get my balance up to £234 LOL When will I learn, I played it out:oops:

Took the chance hoping for a big big win, nope, I couldn't hit a thing, "sigh", next time.

But hell yeah, the playtime I'm having with little deposits atm is fanbloodytastic, LONG may it continue ;)
