ISSUE RESOLVED THANKS TO VIP SUPPORT!

This is the most ridiculous thing I have come across.
DO NOT TRUST WHAT YOU GET TOLD BY THE SUPPORT REPS!

King Solomons Casino (Playtech) support rep Robbie offered a 200% bonus on my next deposit of $200. His words, verbatim, were 'We can offer you a 200% reload bonus.... how much are you depositing?' I told him $200, and he said it would automatically be credited.

I accepted the offer and deposited $200. I ONLY deposited because of this offer, which sounded great. Only problem was, I only got 50%

When I questioned him about it (when he finally came back into support after trying to avoid answering my requests), he told me that that was only for poker! I neither play poker, which he could clearly see from looking at my account, nor did he specify the bonus was only for poker!

He admitted to making a mistake, but said it didn't matter as he doesn't have a contract with me.

Lesson: DO NOT trust these people!

Do these support representatives earn a commission for signing up bettors and/or having current bettors redeposit money? If so, then I guess they'll say anything to get that commission. They feel safe behind the two-dimensional graphics on your screen and they are far away in real life from angry bettors. Robbie probably isn't his real name and it changes everyday.

It would have seemed to be an innocent mistake until Robbie denied that a contract existed. Surely the fact that you deposited was the consideration to the offer made. No use talking to that guy again. Just PM the rep here. Nevertheless, the cap locks and the job threats were uncalled for.

just pure rage at that point, i admit... it was soooooo frustrating.

Issue Resolved

Because I am a VIP, I have a VIP rep, who resolved the incident by granting the promised bonus (go, Christopher, you champ!):thumbsup:

It turns out Robbie is a part time employee who is relatively new, and there IS an apology forthcoming!:)

So, consider this resolved.

Thanks for the comments, though. Sometimes you wonder whether you are being reasonable or not.

Glad to see issue resolved

I am glad that VIP honoured their employee's offer to you. Even if he made a mistake, he represents that company, they should honour his commitments, because employees are considered to be acting on behalf of their employers.

You are right not to just blindly accept a CS rep's word in a matter of this nature, and it is well within your rights to ask for management to resolve an issue like this. Happy KS made it right with you.

I understand Christopher is the only decent person in KS support... I had a problem once he helped me very graciously with, even phoned me personally ...or he is playing 'good cop'? ;)
