That they are grown......... and you did "ok".

From the time they are born, you want to teach them and protect them. As a mom, you never

really think they are grown ups. Like waiting to see what kind of person they will become,

and try to instill the best you have to offer over the years.

From awkward middle school through those chaotic high school years.........then college...

Then, one day......... even though it happened probably years earlier......... you realize he's a

man.

Below is my sons' tribute to his dad.

It made me cry..... and proud.

"""""I've lost count of how many times I've been called "my father's son". It's most likely

because when you have a dad as awesome as mine, you naturally follow in his footsteps as

best as you can.

His sense of humor, mannerisms & general outlook on life is passed on to you unknowingly &

you couldn't be more proud of that statement. You try to help people, like he does.

You'd do anything you can for your friends & family, like he would. Dads show their sons little

tutorials along the way in life.... how to shave, how to drive, etc.; but these menial tasks add

up over time to teach you one ultimate lesson.....

What kind of man you want to be.

Love you, Pops."""""""
