    Received this email today ,

    Dear dave,

If you do not log into your account within the next 30 days, it will have been inactive for 12 months, and therefore considered to be a dormant account.

We will charge a monthly maintenance fee of 3.70GBP on the account balance, and the first fee will be charged at the end of the twelfth month after the last login was recorded.

If Your Player Account remains dormant for more than 30 months, we will try to send your cashable funds (if any) to you, after deducting the necessary fees. If your current location is unknown, the remaining funds (if any) shall be transferred to the Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LGA) of Malta.

Charging you for not playing ....... , The reason i dont play there is due to there terrible service in the first place then they chuck this at me ,

    Is it even legal ?

Actually, you will find terms like this in quite a lot of casinos if you care to search for it.

The "fine" can only be deducted from funds in your account though - they won't send you an invoice!
Best thing is to contact them so you can log in, and then play your account to £0, or withdraw if you have a significant amount in there.

Well do you still have a balance there? If so it's time to withdraw. If not then no worries.

Cheers for the answers chaps ,

I very much doubt i have any money in there and if i do its probably bonus money they chuck you to sucker you back in .Im pretty sure i remeber having to near beg them to close my account after asking numerous times and them offering me all sorts not to ,

If i remeber rightly , I was sent an email for a 100% bonus by contacting chat after depositing , I have many sites i can play bu thought id take this bonus , I make my deposit , go to chat and its offline , And not back again for like 12 hours , I send them an email and still dont hear back after hours , I play my deposit and lose thinking i will get the bonus credited the next day , I wake up an find no bonus in my account and when i ask in live chat where it was they tell me that the bonus needed to be credited with the deposit and since i have played my deposit already i cannot get the 100% bonus .
I mean thats just being cheap right ????

I hate getting the piss taken out of me by casinos so i ask to close my account , this conversation lasts about 20 minutes including being passed onto the manager to talk , I still ask for my account to be closed an be taken off the mailing list .

The next say i receive another email off them ......(so much for off the mailing list ) to say the bonus money has now been granted and is in my account ( again after asking and being told my account was closed ) , I was told if i didnt want this bonus i could email back to them and they would close my account , which i did .
SO in all i had asked my account to be closed to various staff between 10-20 times before it finally was , And to this day i still get mail from them (including from my original complaint above ) even though my account is supposedly closed and i am no longer on the mailing list .

A predatory company if ever there was one , Obviously prey on problem gamblers , Good job i am not one , I pride myself on closing any or all casinos as soon as i smell any bullshit as it sucks the fun out of it and more recently a few good no nonsense sites have come to the fore meaning we dont need to put up with this kinda thing

    Hey Dave,

    Thanks for your message.

I am the official representative for Karamba casino and will help you in regards to your query.
We consider a dormant account, an account with no login after a period of 12 months.
Also, in order to provide our players with the best service, we notify with an automatic email before proceeding with any maintenance fees. (maintenance fees are deducted from any remaining balance after 12 month of inactivity)

I invite you to contact me via personal messages, to discuss your personal case.
The automatic email you received,is a clear indication of Karamba's commitment to complete transparency.

    Best Regards
    Karamba Team

There's a reason i cant log into my account , It because i closed the account , so your trying to charge me for an account i asked to be close numerous times , including to your manager at the time , I have no money in the account , maybe like 0.23p , So you are welcome to that if you want , Also i asked numerous times to taken off the mailing list yet im still getting messages about this dormant account thing .

Your site has probably the worst customer service i have ever dealt with , And i didnt think after a year of hearing nothing from you and supposedly having my account closed ( and being taken off the mailing list ) i'd be hearing from you again , And again having to put up with even terrible service .

In my opinion what you have done is both immoral and illegal , You have denied many requests to close my account and im guessing this behavious isnt excluded to me alone , This type of thing is just preying on vulnerable gamblers and anymore contact you would like to have with me you can do via this thread where other members of our forum can see what you have to say for yourself

I thought the site had shut it's doors?

I can understand that it may of been an auto email for the 12m inactive but surely if casinos can can keep your email logged than what other info have they got stored? That should all be deleted.
