Well I just thought I would post about my most recent visit to Jumers in Rock Island, IL. I walked in with about $40 in spending cash. Compared to what I have been getting online lately. I tell you I lasted for 8 hours in there. Eventually walked out without the $40, but at least I went up and down on it for a while. My goal was $120 or nothing. Kept getting close to $100 but could never make it up over the hill. Anyways after cashing out my comp points. The lady at the rewards booth also told I qualified for a free seafood buffet or $20 at the diner for my level of play today. Pretty cool huh? You bet I'll return here with that level of customer service.
Can't quite get that from an online casino eh?
See online casinos you need take a lesson from the land based casinos that giving your player something is what you need to make him return. I mean yeah you can't give me a free hotel room, buffet, or some fancy drink, but at least people like English Harbour really have there head on straight by offering more than free cash. Like there you can get prizes and even chances for a drawing.
Wish for sure I could find an RTG like that. Anyways just thought I would post my nice little adventure here.

Very good information, thanks. Good to know how land-based casinos comp loyalty, and compare it to online outfits. ;) (I know Atlantic City casinos, and that's about it, so I appreciate the post.)

Hi Cheetah...we've been past Jumers a bunch but never taken the time to stop. We may have to do that if they are that good with the comps! We go to the Isle a lot and end up with free rooms, free food and free money all the time. Thanks for the info!

Just an odd question, kind of pertaining to the same idea I just posted. Since I got this great level of customer service. I'm thinking of going back and playing for slightly bigger stakes this time. Just to see how I fare. My question is lets say I win a jackpot. Will I be paying tax as if I lived in IL or would they take care of my Iowa taxes for me? Just wondering.

The Feds get their cut and you will have to claim it in Iowa when you do your taxes.
