1075/2.24 = 479.91 games. Which is nearly an impossible number of games to play. There is also no guarantee that this number would be revised upwards.

Just curious as to why you would play here? There has been tonnes of issues with the cake poker/juicy poker thing.

Anyways, they are doing this because they have some pretty big processing fees. Its not right but looks like its their bs policy

Id suggest learning how to play plo8 and grinding microstakes to reach the FPP if you dont want to play a million $5 sitngos.

As other skins closed, I was forced to have my money moved there. They've done the same thing to other players.

Juicy Stakes was once owned by Cake Network itself. It was created to separate their US players from the Cake brand, for legal reasons. In case you didn't know, Cake is broke.

Doyles Room took a huge chunk of money out of the network when they left. Estimates of 5-11mm USD. A couple years later Cake got into bed with Lock Poker and caught a virulent case of the Herp. Lock Poker went bust owing, in my estimate, $15mm to players, cake, affiliates, and other network partners. Thanks Jennifer Larson! (we never worked with Lock, it was obvious to me it was an unsustainable business model)


So Juicy Stakes was basically an unfunded company with a massive black hole for a balance sheet. It was basically given away to pay off Cake Network debts. The new owners gained nothing in exchange for it financially, just inherited the player base.

It has mostly US players. Processing for US players is expensive. Their policy thus, is to recoup some of those funds. In order to do so they require a certain amount of play-through before they release real money from their accounts in exchange for the non-real money in the Juicy Stakes accounts they inherited. They still lose bigtime on people who do the minimum to withdraw. But at least those players provide network liquidity and help in other ways.

Is it ideal? HELL NO! But I do respect that they are trying to make good on other people's debts.

The playthrough requirement for new players is not nearly as severe, and is pretty much standard on US-friendly sites (10% of amount deposited in rake/fees). The old players have to put in more work to get their phantom funds exchanged into real dollars.

FYI, playing cash games yields far higher FPP production and can close that gap far earlier. Casino games also earn FPPs and you can pick a low edge casino game and play perfect strategy to generate your FPPS. Now, obviously you won't get full value on your money doing it that way, but, mathematically, you can figure out what you stand to recoup. Again, I know this isn't ideal, but you're basically trying to collect a debt that the original owners of Juicy Stakes defaulted on...
