The Los Angeles Dodgers say former pitcher Jose Lima has died at age 37.

The team says Lima, a 13-game winner with the Dodgers in 2004, died Sunday. According to the Aguilas Cibaenas, Lima’s winter ball team in the Dominican Republic, he died of an apparent heart attack.

Wow, only 37 and had a heart attack. I am a few years older then that and smoke like a chimney. Makes you put life into perspective a little more when you read something like this.
