Hi Steve,

Just to let you know, the Audit was completed on 15 Feb 2001. I did not want to make this public knowledge until I had confirmation in writing, which I received over the weekend.

We are now processing all approved cash-ins, you will be pleased to know that this means 99.9% of them, and will be sending outstanding funds to the clients starting today.

HMMM, THE EMAIL IS DATED 2/19/01. IT'S NOW 4/02/01 AND I'VE NOT RECEIVED MY WINNINGS. THAT'S ONE LONG PROCESSING PERIOD. CHECKS FROM THESE GUYS USUALLY COME FROM CANADA, SO I CAN'T SEE IT TAKING CLOSE TO 6 WEEKS FOR MY CHECKS TO ARRIVE.

All the clients will be informed of the procedure and we will inform the general public later today.

I'D LIKE TO KNOW HOW THEY INFORMED THEIR CLIENTS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC. I DID NOT RECIEVE ANY TYPE OF INFORMATION FROM THEM--EVER. THEY NEVER SAID A THING ABOUT THE AUDIT, NOR DID THEY INFORM ME THAT THE AUDIT WAS DONE AND CHECKS WERE BEING SENT. DID ANYONE ELSE RECEIVE A MESSAGE ALONG THESE LINES?

I thank you for your patience and assistance in regard to this audit, and thankfully point out that procedures have been implemented that will avoid an audit of this magnitude from having to be done again in the future.

Cheers,
John

THEY SHOULD THANK STEVE. HE HAS BEEN PATIENT WITH THESE PEOPLE, AS HAVE THE PLAYERS. BUT I CAN'T HELP BUT THINK THIS PLACE IS JUST BS'ING. THEY HAVEN'T PAID A NUMBER OF PEOPLE, AND AFTER CLOSE TO 4 MONTHS OF WAITING, THEY ARE STILL BLOWING SMOKE UP OUR ASSES.

THIS GROUP IS REALLY STOOPING TO A NEW LOW. SHAME ON THEM FOR NOT ACTING IN GOOD FAITH WITH THE OPA AND THEIR PLAYERS. IT IS INEXCUSABLE THAT THIS GROUP IS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE OPA ND THE PLAYERS IN THIS WAY. WE GAVE THEM A LITTLE BREATHING ROOM, AND IN RETURN, WE GET NOTHING BUT MORE EXCUSES INSTEAD OF THE MONEY WE ARE OWED.

It is time to get moving on getting the players paid. They have been very responsive to the OPA complaints so far.

I received an email from someone who claimed to be a stockholder in Tropika. They asked that I look into all the complaints properly. He also said that some people might have been abusing their bonus policy.

As you can see in the complaint section. We are busy sending them the complaints

I guess you can understand a worried stockholder fearing that the value of his stock will decline. And who knows what he or she has been led to believe is the reason for the problems at Tropika casinos?

But the plain fact remains. There are players who have not been paid what is due to them. That is not the way in which a respectable company operates. Period.

As I understand the situation, there aren't any outstanding problems concerning "bonus" abuse. If this were so, I would assume this would have come up during the "audit" period.

For example, I was never accused of "bonus abuse" (with good reason, since I made sure I followed all rules to the letter and excceded all wagering requirments). And, as far as I'm aware, none of the other players are awaiting payment while any type of abuse is being investigated.

I used to read the Tropika stock message boards a while back, and to be honest, it seemed as if most of the regulars there felt that the only people not being paid were players who tried to bend the rules and abuse the promotion.

Reading Mr. Holmes' letter, this doesn't seem to be the case.

Dirk

I am still waiting for payment exceeding $1500 from three Tropika casinos. I've filed with Gambling Grumbles, so I have to make this post anonymous. Some of you can probably figure out who I am.

I did, in fact, receive information from tropika that the audit was complete, and on 2/17 I was told payment had been "sent" and should be in my hands "shortly." I'm sure the only reason they volunteered this information was my prying emails.
