Jerry "my promotions manager" has been showing up in my spam. With casino offers from Mr Green and Paf Casino (another one for the bad casino name thread). But the thing I noticed they are addressing me by my first name and correctly spelt.

It got me thinking how much information do some affiliates possess, they have obviously my full name and email.Could they have my address, telephone number and other personal information about me.If so whats to stop this falling into the hands of unscrupulous individuals in the back of beyond. They could have all the information to commit serious fraud and even open a casino account with my details.

This email address was once my safe address and I have only gave it out to reputable casinos but now my informations seems to be getting passed about. Is this information sold or just freely swapped?

Its scary to think how much information is out there.Ive had my bank account already emptied once, and was due to online gambling. It was a terrible feeling to see how easy it had been done.

If your first name does not form part of your email address, then you can be pretty certain someone has sold your contact details, and it has ended up on the lists freely traded between spammers.

The spammers will be getting paid for any traffic the spam brings them, and to find Paf being spammed in this way is somewhat odd. Paf is a niche non profit making state regulated casino, akin to a charity raising money for good causes. For Paf to get involved in the affiliate scene, with attendant risks of it ending up being seen in spam, is a blow to it's credibilty. Mr Green is a bog standard online casino being run for profit, and these usually use affiliates for marketing, so readily end up in spam.

I have started getting these too, so both our primary email addresses have been sold on by someone to this relatively new spammer.

In regards to paf casino I had a little look and have found 2,an online version and another a land based I dont know if theres any connection other than the silly name. But did notice that all there profits go to good causes which is rare to say the least.I will maybe give them a try at least if Iam losing a good cause may be getting the benefit. They have a mixture of older netent slots and slots Ive never seen before.

Paf may sound like a bad name for an online casino, but I think it refers to their full name "Penningautomatförening" (Swedish) :)

"Paf is licenced and controlled by the local Åland government. We were founded in 1966 by charities to raise money for good causes. And that aim has never changed. When you win, you keep the money. When we win, our profit is used to improve lives. So play among friends and join the fun where everyone wins!""

Canadians on the other hand...

Sorry Greigssy! I'm derailing again. I have to stop doing that:eek2:

Canadians on the other hand have government run lotteries that pay back 46%, with the "profits" after inflated director salaries and payments to lottery retailers, use the profits to to produce nice pie charts, such as this for Ontario:

. This does actually include charity bingos, scratch tickets, casinos and slots 'n trots (racing).

Government funding levels for arts and charities were actually higher before we had lotteries to fund them.

I'm sorry too for the derail Greigssy, but it's all Tirilej's fault :p

Give me cute blondes driving Volvos`s whilst listening to ABBA over big hairy assed lumberjacks (not sure what the males of this country do for a living :p) any day of the week ;).

LOL... I guess I got lucky, and found the one Canadian woman, whose arse isn't huge, OR hairy.
That all Swedish....or scandinavian women are blonde and beautiful is a huge misunderstanding btw....not that we don't have any of those, but...
I moved from Denmark to Canada, and it seems to be how people here think it is in scandinavia ....really ? That's funny.

Please LaHutti, he only wanted the cute blondes, not the rest of them:p

Thanks Jasminebed for putting me back in respecting Canadians again:thumbsup:

I love women...blondes brunettes and redheads alike....and I don't give a rats arse where they come from. I actually don't mind a nicely built butt either....excessively hairy, I can live without tho ;)
I just happened to find the cutest one in Canada (Are you reading this hunny ?....).
