Maybe she didnt have one for the savings account if she didnt then transfer money into an account that has a card
We can turn this inside out but i think the bottom line is either you can use your own card with your name on it and nothing else or not
There are so many horror stories where a family member have bankrupt the whole family
Maybe the kid didnt know but since she won a decent amount of money he plays along because she promises him a big chunk of it
Who knows maybe it is maybe ot isnt

I can understand where you're coming from, for the greater good perhaps it's best if it was a black and white situation moving forward and using another person's card [even if close family and with permission] is forbidden.

It does seem everything has to be arranged in the gambling industry on the basis of harm prevention, I'm not sure how common it is but kind of expect it to happen more at granny sites or bingo places for some reason

I know a few people who only have post office accounts, so its not beyond the realms of possibility for someone not to have their own debit card.
If there are no terms and conditions saying you can't do this (as was stated earlier), then the OP hasn't done anything wrong.
If a casino doesn't want third party deposits then a line in the terms and conditions stating 'Payment must be made from an account in the account holders name' is all thats needed.

Jackpot joy are part of the Gamesys group you won't find very many complaints about the place that's because they are a decent group this is yet another case of a punter taking the piss and they did get paid so what's all the drama about?
We all as gamblers know not to be despoiting with other people's bank cards if a punter didn't have a debit card or account that's probably because they either have a CIFAS marker or they are totally pants with money.

That's the thing, their terms don't actually prohibit it. The closest you get is 'must not register in own name and allow others to play' - which isn't what they did.

Hard to see how they could withhold it simply because they couldn't be arsed proof reading their own terms and conditions.

Plenty of people who have bad credit too who struggle to get an account, or don't have any ID

More I read into this and follow this thread I feel the term Is NOT there on purpose, (IE:extra deposits possible due to reasons mentioned and others) but a useful tool should they decide one day they don't want to pay out a life changing amount maybe?
