Hello all,
Spent much of this weekend trying out Jackpot Party – a mixed but good experience so far. I deposited £75 and it went up to £300 pretty fast and then right down to £20 before I got it back up again. Eventually made the wagering requirement (20x I think) and withdrew £225, leaving myself with £75 to play with.
Or to lose as it happens.
So, some thoughts; firstly, the good. The games are GREAT. Really fun, quite different, some inventive features, good music and what seems to be a range of variance. They really reminded me of Vegas and I’ve played some of them there before. I especially liked Platea and Riches of the Amazon. Really enjoyed the bonus rounds on both.
Secondly, the Jackpot Party progressive feature. This is basically a randomly triggered site-wide feature where you can win one of a bunch of tiered jackpots, from like £30 up to about 10k. No, I didn’t get a go on it but I have had several on the one in Vegas and it is about as exciting as it gets. I’d be really interested to hear from anyone who has gotten it online – was it triggered by a special symbol? How much did you win? If this is you then please do let us know. It would be good to hear. Just having the feature on there is pretty exciting I think. It’s also presented quite slickly in that you can hover your mouse over the different tiers and see when they were last won and how many people have won each tier etc. Best of all though, was the info from Michael, the customer service rep:
[11:30:23 PM] ME: Do you have any idea if the amount you wager on a single spin increases your chances of getting a shot at it?
[11:31:02 PM] Michael: The amount of your wager does not effect your chances of triggering the Progressive.
[11:31:23 PM] ME: So you could actually win 10k off a 50p bet??!
[11:31:33 PM] Michael: That's correct.
[11:31:47 PM] Michael: Any stake any time.
I wonder if this means you could play 1 line and still trigger it? Thoughts welcome.
The final piece of good news is the CS. Fast, efficient and easy to communicate with. I received an email saying my cashout was processed this morning too so I’ll post an update when it hits my bank. If these guys pay fast too then they’ll be seeing more of my moolah.
Now the not so good news: Firstly, no flushing withdrawals. That’s not great in itself but to their credit this is explained clearly and honestly right in the FAQs:
Can I flush my withdrawal?

No. Flushing a withdrawal simply removes the request from pending state without cancelling it; however will not speed up the withdrawal process. Withdrawals must be cancelled if you wish to make another deposit. Alternatively, you will need to wait till the withdrawal has been processed
The irritant here for me is this part: Withdrawals must be cancelled if you wish to make another deposit. Alternatively, you will need to wait till the withdrawal has been processed.
That’s annoying for obvious reasons. On the other hand if they always process quickly then I guess it’s not so bad.
No so good news part 2 – slooooooooooooooooooooooooow spins. This seemed worse during my second session which was late on sat night – perhaps that had something to do with it as I’d imagine that lots of UK players are on at that time. I found repeatedly that when I hit spin there was a delay while my balance was recalculated and adjusted. I counted a few of these and they ranged from 10 to 30 seconds. This isn’t a major gripe for me as anything which helps me to slow down when I’m playing is a good thing overall. I can imagine it would irritate some players a lot though. While this does happen with some of the other no download casinos I’ve played on it was noticeably worse here. Hardly ever happens at Boyle and only occasionally at Victor Chandler. If there’s a rep on here perhaps they could shed some light on how/why this happens and when/if it will be fixed?
Part 3 – slow loading times. Not ages, but takes a while. A very minor gripe, this.
I think that’s all for now and look forward to hearing of anyone else’s experiences.
All the best folks.
UPDATE: Just had another look on their site and clicked on the progressive video preview. Next to it, it says: THE MORE YOU BET, THE BETTER YOUR CHANCES OF TRIGGERING RANDOM JACKPOTS ON YOUR FAVORITE GAMES. This seems to contradict what I was told by CS. Is there a rep who can clear this up for me?
