I am quite angry this morning. I made a withdrawal from JC and when I withdrew it, I chose the cheque method in which it asked me if I would like a registered cheque. I ticked yes, and the balance went down by $35 as that's what it costs for registered. No problems with that. All good. The problem is... 5 days later when I received my email that payment has been processed, the withdrawal balance was back to the normal balance. So I queried it via live chat and was told a normal cheque is being sent. And I know for fact I ticked that registered box and chose to pay the $35. Even tho the $35 is back on my balance, I really wanted a registered cheque as I always get that. And to be told I never chose registered and that it's my fault and not there problem is what has made me angry. I just hope I get this cheque now as being not registered it's easy to get lost, stolen or not even arrive.

Not played there in a long time

does make you think why would they not of took the 35 and sent registered? profit for them

If you do not receive in a reasonable time and they add the cash back to your account than we know the true reason

Sadly this outfit has gotten worse over the years.

Their pending time is ridiculous. It looks like they have taken on th epolicy to leave withdraws reversible for as long as possible hoping the player loses it.

Can you keep us updated on what happens? I am particularly interested because I only play at that casino. I will only keep playing with them if they don't mess other people around. You should be alright because this site has accredited them as trustworthy.

I am sure the cheque will be made out in your name, so no one can cash it in, except yourself. If it doesn't arrive in your letterbox in 4-6 weeks by regular mail ( and yes, it does take that long for letters to arrive from Europe ), you can let Jackpot City know, and they will cancel that cheque and give you another option to receive your funds. This is my understanding of it by the banking terms and conditions on their website. The downside is, it will probably take another 2 weeks or something on top of that for them to cancel the cheque, and pay you. They also say there will be an administrative fee ( unspecified ) for their trouble ( and yours ).

I think registered post just means it gets to you quicker, you know when it's coming by tracking service.

Since Australia doesn't accept credit card funds from overseas gaming anymore, I have signed up with Neteller so they can pay me through them.

Hi. Yes waiting on my cheque now. Was furious because everytime I spoke to someone on live chat I would get a different story. One said I had a registered cheque will receive in 4-5 days.. The next day a normal cheque receiving in 2-3 weeks. When questioned why no swift withdrawal I was getting all sorts of story's. I have been told they no longer do swifts?? When asked why I couldn't withdraw back to my debit MasterCard I was told they don't do MasterCard and never have. Right oh...then how do they take my deposit via MasterCard?? Anyways I am awaiting my cheque. Sigh

The day I made this post... I made a deposit on lucky nugget casino deposited $12 and won $400. I am a big player and have won many of times at LNugget. This withdrawal was a pain in the butt. I have always made a swift withdrawal... Now I'm told no more swifts... Choose another method.. And they were not polite about it. I wont be playing at either of these casinos anymore. Too much hassle and withdrawals have turned bad. I usually got a swift withdrawal in 2-3 days.. Now I'm waiting on cheques for a withdrawal for up to 4 weeks on cash out. Disgusting!!

Casino Mate in my experience is excellent, every time I have been on live chat, the person is professional and knows what they are talking about. You could try them. I used to use 32Red ( out of business for Aussies now ) and Spin Palace, but now I just use Jackpot City, but if I run into a payment problem I'm outta there. Think most casinos have cut back on payment options don't know why that is, could be an Australian thing only, and live chat arent on top of all the rules for all the players. Casino Mate is great but the platform is straight from online, no software, bad news for me as it eats more data, cant afford that, Ive got no internet plan.

Yep tell us when you get the cheque.

Have you sent any ID documents? Photo ID to JC?

Oh no. 32red has stopped playing for Australians? Damn. That's where I was going to go back to. Haven't played there in a long while. JC did not ask me for any ID requirements. I have every single conversation screen shot tho. About my withdrawal. I hope this cheque comes this week as this will be the 2nd week o have been waiting now. Will keep u posted.

GREAT NEWS. I just received a cheque via fed X courier !!! So I indeed got it the way I asked BUT they did not take the $35 payment for it. How fabulous. I guess I will take it back now and continue to play at JC. I'm one happy lady this morning. What a great ending.

Strange alright. They tell me a normal cheque but a registered cheque came. They didn't take payment for it nor did I upload any documents as I have never withdrew from JC before. And YES the cheque was in my name. It's in the bank all waiting to be cleared. Oh well.. Glad all turned out fine. Was stressful there for a bit when talking to live chats getting told all different stories.
