hi guys.

i am a platinum vip here who deposits well over 2k a month. well i have just being banned from bonuses. the reason i am abusing them lol. so 30x deposit and bonus and slots only and no gamble features on these slots, but i have abused them
think it is more that i have won a 10k random and a few minor jackpots, and quite a few wds is the reason i am banned today. i just thought to let people know it dont matter what you deposit with these lot. if you win overall you be banned too.
I have also now just read this on their website.Accounts from the following countries, will be exempt from bonus redemption upon creation of an account: Greece, Poland, Russia, Australia, Sweden, United Kingdom, Romania and Bulgaria.........

omg. is this new? uk banned for bonuses. well if they are they obviously couldnt ban me as my account is quite a few years old. so at least the bonus banning get me out of ever getting me anymore bonuses. they say if i deposit more without bonuses, i may get bonuses in the future.

thoughts guys?
ps...i also noticed i have a slotastic account, and prob well down here, and i now bonus banned their too as of today..

You are probably bonus banned at several casinos now. At least these: JC, Slotastic, Grande Vegas, Lucky Club, Intertops and the one you can find in the rogue section of Casinomeister...Liberty Slots.

These six casinos are sharing lists and some servers, they don't want you as a customer. They really think that you are clicking "spin" in a macic way... :what:

yes magic clicker ha ha. i cant believe they have banned a platinum vip from bonuses. platinum is the highest vip service you can get here. and i had to go on live chat to find out i was banned, not a e mail or nothing off them. its just said in my vip account today that my vip status was under review. when i asked about this on live chat, i was told i was bonus banned. shocking behaviour from a so called first class casino. but i suppose they dont have to give anyone any bonuses so alls good.

I've been bonus banned, reinstated and bonus banned again over the last couple of years. Each time the ban followed a large win. Abuse of bonuses simply means you have abused their bank account. There are plenty others whose definition of bonus abuse is 'you have won using a bonus'

I have thoughts, but they aren't good ones....I also got banned from bonuses (not from Jackpot Capital) and I thought OMG why...I deposit over 2k a month blah blah blah but I too had hit almost a 10k random and had plenty of withdrawals...the deemed me a 'professional'...so I set up accounts elsewhere but any casino with RTG has banned me from bonuses...my online gambling used to be my only hobby and it hurt me not to be able to do it. I was also a VIP level 2 and have been stripped to nothing. I have deposited without bonuses and it isn't the same. I feel like it takes the reels a few good times to go around to do anything and my playtime is like 5 minutes, 10 at the most. Point is...don't feel alone...sorry this happened to you

It's a misuse of the term "abuse". It implies the player has not played in good faith, but often it means simply that the player got lucky. These RJs are random, so ANY player could have a significant win that pushes them into positive territory, it does not mean any boni have been abused.

Maybe this is more about spreading the UK general bonus ban to existing players by bonus banning them when they get ahead overall because of what other UK players have been doing that triggered the addition of the UK to the general ban list.

A very short sighted attitude to take, as it makes them less attrative to new players, and may also make existing players, even Platinum VIP ones, think "what's the point", and moving elsewhere before they too get bonus banned.

Platinum VIP should mean that YOU have been thorougly vetted by the casino, and that no matter what "other UK players do", they are satisfied that "your" play is recreational and "within the spirit" of the promotions.

If there was "bonus abuse" going on, the ban would have come along sooner, and Platinum VIP would never have been offered.

It appears that "bonus abuse" is simply a standard excuse, rather than admitting that there is a policy of automatically bonus banning players that end up getting ahead, which is surprisingly common.

Almost all the bonus bans I have received have been shortly after a big win, and/or getting ahead overall at the casino. It is nothing to do with "bonus abuse", and all to do with being "lucky enough not to need further bonuses". Bonuses are often restored when players carry on playing and end up losing again, but I am not daft enough to fall for that, so I generally remain bonus banned, and the offending casino generally remains uninstalled.

Casinos like Jackpot Capital are aimed at the US market, where they face relatively little competition. They would NEVER add a general US bonus ban, even if US players were far more bonus abusive than UK ones. If they end up getting forced out of the US, I bet many of these banned countries would suddenly become eligible again, but they would manage the problem by changing the rules or making the offers more targetted at individual players.

Just an addition to Maphesto's post, Liberty Slots IS on the rogue section, but they're not a rogue casino.
They're "not recommended" due to not being very transparent with where they're
licensed out of. ;)

I got bonus banned there too and I don't even use normal bonuses when I deposit :p

I happen to win too much from all the ND's they sent out. That was enough.
To me their banning was understandable even if I didn't like it of course.
I would have continue playing there anyway if they hadn't changed their payout times,
so Instead I closed my accounts with all the casinos in that group.
I don't even know if I was banned from bonuses in the others too. I never checked.

maphesto, I am not banned at Intertops. I don't play there and never have, but I do get offers.

The bonuses at RTG casinos are huge by nature primarily for players to bet bigger thanthey normally do to have a crack at the random jackpots. Most of the RJs at JC are seeded with an initial $1K from the casino so they are only out of pocket by that amount with the rest coming from players' contributions. Except for the fact that it gives you more playtime a deposit bonus comes with wagering of 30(d+b) so nobody can normally take advantage of the bonuses. If one wants to take beatable RTG bonuses, Slotocash, Inetbet and CW are much better options. This group needs to think twice before bonus-banning a whale.

thanks guys for your thoughts. took me a long time for my vip platinum status. wont be playing here or any other of their casinos again. but it was all fun thanks...

Richard: Unfortunately, players from your country are exempt from receiving bonuses due to high instances of bonus abuse in the past.

What a load of bollocks.

They spend good money sending POINTLESS letters through the post, and then moan that they are losing money through "bonus abuse".

It's not "abuse", but "use". I bet they never expected players to actually USE what they are offered through the post and by email, and probably what REALLY gets on their nerves are the lack of real money deposits coming from these players.

It's not actual "abuse" of the offers themselves, it is the fact that their marketing trickery has stopped working, and UK players "woke up and smelled the coffee", deciding that they may as well just play the numerous free chips and never bother depositing.

The problem is that because SOME players did this, they have banned ALL players, even their top rated Platinum VIP ones from the UK. This demonstrates that customers are treated as "numbers" rather than "individuals". This means that some high value players are being accused of doing something that they have not done, and that by treating customers as "individuals" could easily be separated from the generally abusive public and allowed to continue to participate.

I was almost tempted to reinstall Slotastic now that my new PC is fully kitted out with everything it needs to run casinos, and that I still receive the regular email newsletters and postal offers. Now, I won't bother as nothing I receive applies to me.

Luckily, Slotastic postal mailers are only printed on one side of the paper, leaving the other side useful for my printer, a benefit worth about 2p per month:D

Wow, I didn't like the change to withdrawal times but I did still play there because I knew I would get paid and told fellow players the same thing.

They seem to be getting less and less player friendly, sure bonuses are not a must but they don't have the greatest bonus terms in the first place. Looks like I will steer clear and warn other players the same from now on.. such a shame these guys were great in the beginning now they seem to be just hungry.

Cheers
Matt

Interesting

I also play at JPC and slotastic and am from australia with gold status- I do win (though not all the time) but as yet have not been bonus banned (although having won 3K pus off a 100 deposit this weekend that may change!).

Is the country ban for new players or all players- I certainly haven' t been notified of any change. I will ask VIP team and post the reply

hi,
i was told on live chat the reason i was banned as uk now cant get bonuses on new accounts. i said my jackpot capital and slotastic are both about 7 years old. he said its not just new accounts and its all accounts from uk. i asked could he tell me my deposits/wds totals i made off both of these, he give me them. i was $12k up on j/c and i was surprised to know i was $700 up off slotastic. the j/c was prob well in profit cos i hit a 10k random in the summer last year.
them no deposit bonuses i only ever cashed out once off them, and was max cashout off it of $250.00. if i was to count up how much bonus money i actually recieved, i would of had a shocking ratio of well down on both casinos. luck was on my side as 30x bonus and deposit is very hard to beat. and i never bet aggressively either like $125 a spin.
this is on my account now.....

This appears to go way beyond a bonus ban. You seem to have been stripped of your VIP status and had your comps vanish. Comps are there to reward play, and are the ONLY perk available for players who don't take bonuses. If anything, for non bonus takers the comp rate should be INCREASED to compensate.

It seems this is not really about "bonus abuse", but wanting to ditch their non US players and tighten their focus (and reliance) on the US players. This could be business suicide, the US authorities are still "out to get them", and many other operators have decided to spread their risk by marketing more aggressively elsewhere. Microgaming operators were hit not by the US authorities, but by Microgaming shutting off their entire US player base almost overnight. If they hadn't had a workable non US player business, they would have gone under as revenue went to zero, but overheads remained the same. Quite a few HAVE gone under post UIGEA, often taking players' funds with them.

An operator that is almost 100% reliant on the US is a risk for those US players, because if things go wrong, such as a massive DoJ seizure, or having the US shut off overnight (by the software provider in most cases), how will they make the money to conduct an orderly exit from the business, sending all outstanding balances to players they can no longer service.

Hi Guys,

I am not too miffed about the bonuses, the real reason why i am miffed is i have being treated like a nobody with the highest vip level you can get. no e-mail or nothing about this.
all bonuses are nice to have but no casino at all have to give you them. but to be told via online chat that i had to go too is very bad business ethics. its a slap in the face to me.

Removal of earned comp points is unacceptable, especially by an accredited casino.

Wobble - fire off a pm to the JPC REP and see if they can sort it and find out what's going on re UK players.

Hi nifty
i had no comp points to redeem, i had already redeemed them. but the box to redeem them is no longer their if i was to continue to play without bonuses..also i have not seen the manager of this casino on here think its jasmeen in a long time posting..

pm sent- i will post the reply especially interested if all uk players new and old are banned for promos, or just the cs filling me with rubbish and it was just me personally....

To be honest Jackpot Capital has been going down hill since they got the big head. I remember when it was just a small casino tucked away in a corner. Whenever things start to change against its customers. It's time for the customers to stop supporting them. If you continue to give alittle. They will continue to take a lot. Sure it's their casino. So let them play their own games.

Although not retrospective, the "0 points to next level" clearly shows this has gone way beyond a bonus ban. If anything, they have made this "personal" given that you attained Platinum status, yet are now being treated like any new player outside the US without regard to your loyalty and play, which was what EARNED you the Platinum status.

Not only have they stripped the status, they have blocked you from EVER earning it back no matter how much you play with your own money.

If this is how they view ALL players (mere cash cows), they really do not deserve our custom. US players may be getting royal treatment now, but what happens when US players are no longer "flavour of the month", kicked to the kerb without ceremony, and told their loyalty and status means nothing, and never really did.

Their VIP status doesn't seem to mean much anyway, as this action shows that it is 100% about the bonuses, and no bonuses means no need to tell a player they are valued in any way through a VIP status.

A PROPER VIP programme can exist with or without bonuses, and a VIP player could be bonus banned, yet still benefit from many other perks such as faster payouts, invites to major events, VIP trips, etc. Quite a few even enhance the comp point earnings rate, something that can operate with or without bonuses.

Many non-US players may not be bothered about the bonus ban as they don't take them anyway. Rather than have these players carry on dropping their cash in blissful ignorance, they will notice when their VIP status vanishes overnight, and they always have zero comp points no matter how much they play. For these players, it won't be about the bonuses, but treatment meeted out to a loyal player.

From the screenshot, I see they have Neteller, and a specific card option that works in only 3 countries, none of them the US. This seems VERY odd for a casino that wants to ditch all but US players, and doesn't even seem to want non US players even if they play WITHOUT bonuses.

Today, I received another email from Slotastic for a 50% bonus, no mention at all of any changes that make me ineligible, and why even send it at all, as they KNOW FOR CERTAIN that I am not eligible because my account details would tell them that I am in the UK.

It would be a classic "bait & switch" were I to download Slotastic on the strength of the personal email offer, and then find the code doesn't work. It can't be too hard to add "Only players in the USA are eligible for this offer" in the email text, a stopgap until they can clear out their email database to ensure emails like this only go to US players.
