Best and Worst of Online Gambling - Meister Awards for 2017 - I need your input!

Yep, once again a year has whizzed by and the Casinomeister Awards are being extrapolated, ranked, and written. Just like last year, and the year before, and the year before that, and that one, etc., etc., blah blah blah - this is your chance to suggest new and interesting categories, awards, recipients, or any other input for that matter.

For the newbies, The Casinomeister Awards are dished out right after the Xmas break - usually during the third week of January. It's an "event of the year" which has been held since 2001.

For quite a number of people, these are the only awards that matter... Screw the rest, these are the best.

Deposit bonus conversion limits

My bugbear with casinos is they are increasingly now offering what appears to be an attractive deposit bonus, only to state in the small print that there is a max "conversion" amount capped at something ridiculously low like 4x the bonus.

I can understand there being a cap on winnings for no-deposit bonuses or free spins, but when you are depositing with your own money and win big, it is crushing to find you can only withdraw a small portion of your winnings at the end of the wagering.

For me, the best casinos are the ones that pay me and the worst are those that block me.

In 2017 my best Spots are: Cafe Casino, SlotoCash, POSH, CherryJackpot

I have to say that the worst group or casino?CWG Hand's Down!

To see this bunch completely destroy a very good group of player bound casino's, is just wrong and for that they deserve the Big High One!

I must say that this year has been one of the worst I have ever had.I have not had 1 win on line this entire year?True I have not been playing as steady as before.but I saw the writing on the wall and stopped.Well I played and lost over $5,000 USD. Best casino of the year is hands down Videoslots and Dan ought to get the best rep award due to his constant presence here on the forum and willingness and effort he puts in for solving problems. When Guts had reps running for the hills Dan stayed put for Videoslots and dealt with the good and bad press so he deserves a lot for being awesome.

My favourite posters are Dunover and Goatwack always guaranteed a laugh with both of them and Dunover is a shining beacon of what a good affiliate should be.

Whether you accept trance monkeys take on it or not is irrelevant..he's provided what people have been asking for and has spent as much time or more than any very active member or rep ALL YEAR.

best casino is slotsmillion even though they had a couple of issues. Some lag, large fees on cashouts for Canadians, no reward system.

I think the things they added over takes that. They added a lock feature when cashing out so you cant reverse, they have a couple parachute bonuses a week, a huge library of games, helpful support, a growing and timely presence on this forum (they have 3 active reps including the manager who respond in a fairly timely manner) . They even sent me a gift basket in the mail. The manager has always answered me via email if the conversation needed to be escalated.

I have a feeling the negative I mention will be fixed this coming year.

Worst casino. I havent played in very bad ones so my opinion on this shouldnt be taken to the extreme but I would have to say anything fortune lounge. Terrible and frustrating times with front end support. Sudden reversals of my cashout requesting more ID. I will say the rep here is pretty nice but her hands are usually tied when it comes to things.

Favorite thread. The how much did you win/lose thread. I like to see people win and even more I like to see people being honest about their losses so the lurkers dont just see a winners screenshot thread and feel that everyone wins and they go and deposit and lose everything.

Bebo had a shite year, yet has come through this and still posts with a sense of humour and having won a battle that's far more significant than any we have with slots or waiting a few extra days for a cash-out.

I have to agree with interlog in regards to best casino as I really don't think their is one this year due to some issues that we have seen, But I guess Videoslots for fast payouts and a active rep. For being here lot's and communication it has to go to Dan again for rep and I don't think it's close again this year. Other than that I don't know how you can hand out awards this year as no casino has been on here that much this year. Dan from Videoslots and maybe Trada a lil bit I have noticed but no other casino reps are on here that much unless a player has a issue. Forum member's awards for sure.

I agree about Dan. He is unbelievable. And he has a family to boot. Too bad we couldn't give him and his family a paid trip, but then everything would fall apart. Goatwick's humor always cracks me up! And I would have to say the best thread was my GoFund me, not because its " about me" but because I have never seen so many people come through when I needed it. You were there from my diagnosis, surgery, and treatment.My anger, my tears and my happiness. You never once complained. I had family members who couldn't " deal;" with it. And friends not know what to do. So when you have a group of virtual friends be there for me. I cant even express it in words. We all have been through so much this year. Kelly, Jasmine, myself. Bryans dad, Max's fall. I personally will be glad when this year is over. Hugs to each and everyone of you!

hi all

well little change for my picks from previous years,so again in order of personal preference.

1.video slots ,simply cant beat the fast payouts and the games all just work.had a couple of chats with cs this year and have to say didn't feel exactly loved

don't even get the 15 free spins a week anymore,

2.risk, no problems always more of a couple of hours for payments but always paid no crap so all good.

3.guts, again getting a longer on the cashouts but again always paid, again had cause to contact cs about a few things and unlike vs felt no love at all

was actually quite annoyed by the responses i got, has to be said only this year previous years all cs i encountered were very helpful and plesent and with the new team onboard it will go back to being great,

4.32red, well as useul no issues at at all here and would easily be no 2 but for the slow payouts,and even with that has to be said you could set your watch

from the time you cashout to when your paid but as i said at the start personal preference.


i have just about nothing to do with reps but just from reading the forums has to be capt risk, or dan from vs both at the top of there game,
