With rain in the forcast and a full 20 horse field we may have another wild and crazy finish in the 136th run for the roses.

I will be heading out to my local racetrack here in Cleveland (Thistledown) with about a $1000 in my pocket and hoping i need the brinks truck to help me bring home my winnings. Heres what i am playing on the derby.

    $30 Win/Place/Show on #2 Ice Box..total wager is $90.
    $10 Exacta box #2 Ice Box/#20 Sidney's Candy..total wager is $20.
    $5 Trifecta box #1 Looking At Lucky/#2 Ice Box/ #20 Sydney's Candy...total wager is $30.

The great thing about the derby is there is 20 horses and everyone has an opinion on who they like.

    Who is your Derby pick?

Good luck and lets hope we rake in some big cash.

    Tony

I really like Sidney's Candy but you can't overlook Super Saver with Calvin Borel on board.

Well i am not gonna bitch for making a little profit on the race.

I made $140 in bets and was able to collect $288 for a $148 profit on this wager.

    $30 Win/Place/Show on #2 Ice Box..total wager is $90.

Ice Box finished 2ND and paid $11.20 to place and $8 to show.

Churchill Downs has a monster Pick 6 carryover for Thursday's racing. Right now it's at $947,000 plus. Worth a look. Twinspires is running a player's pool on it.
