Question Issues With My Paypal Acct

How about asking paypal to close this account and then you open a new one, different email address. As you said the same message pops up at different casinos, so there is some sort flag on that paypal account.

In a way paypal have got so big they don't seem to care about solving problems even though many now rely on their system, it's integral to using the internet in a way.

Yeah perhaps that might be the only solution, making a brand new account. I really can not be bothered to verify the new account again though. How do I even know a new account will even solve the issue.

Until I do it and test it, I would not know :p

I will ring them again in the morning and see what they suggest me to do!

Thanks again everyone.

Take care and stay well and safe.

Ok, so I just spoke to another nice chap from paypal and he said will you now please try a transaction that is not a gaming or gambling site. Which I did. He can see I have tried everything to try and troubleshoot this problem etc etc and this is the last thing they wanted me to troubleshoot.

So I tried making a transaction on a vaping site and that too got the exact same error message.

So he said that now tells me something for sure is wrong with your account and there must be a bug in the system for your account that needs fixing. So hopefully now it will get fixed perhaps? I said is my only other option to make a brand new account if all this fails and he said perhaps that may be your only option. But even then this problem might still happen on the new account eventually too.

Now again I wait for an email with an update as to the new investigation they will do today for me. He said hopefully today it will be fixed. I am not holding my breath :p

Good luck. Paypal's customer support is... not great.

The very worst kind of offshoring - there are very few staff there that can veer off the script. A relatively simple issue I had with an eBay sale a couple of years back took several weeks to fix.

(I wanted to refund someone who had purchased a phone from me. I was happy to do so. They were happy for me to refund them. The only people causing an issue were Paypal, who for various reasons never fully explained took far too long to organise the refund. Luckily the purchaser accepted it was not my fault.)

Dunno what has happened. But just tried again by testing a deposit at VS and tried at other none gambling sites and IT WORKS again.......

I also had no email back from paypal that they have fixed the issue. But they obviously fixed it and decided not to let me know they fixed it, not very good customer service if you ask me.

Let us hope I never get that stupid error and issue again.

Thanks again everyone who helped me in this thread with my issue and take care and stay safe and well everyone :)
