actually, the original topic was more about most Americans not having a clue as to what is going on in the middle east, nor caring that yet again some nutbags kill a few more Americans in the name of allah. to most people herein the united states , killing of US citizens only matters when it happens on US soil.

Funny I come on here and read this tonight. Just had a very large family gathering and of course the "dreaded" politics conversation took place. That being said, I really believe that many Americans are ignorant regarding the true dire issues that are taking place in the Middle East at the moment. I am really sad to make this statement as I type it. Sincerely, truly sad.

I hear you max1mike, very loud and very clear. Thought 911 changed the American perspective. The motto was "We will never forget." Too, too many have already forgotten.

there was none of media coverage when it was peaceful demonstration while afghans hold the peace sign of heart. i guess they are not allowed to show the world that peaceful demonstration exists...
