Is WH pontoon faulty?

I was just playing Pontoon at William Hills, and twice in just a few hands it 'auto-stood' me on soft 21.

Surely it shouldn't do this?
The first one was really annoying as it was a 4-card 11/21, and I wanted to buy a 5th card!
The 2nd one took the P, because the dealer went on to make 21 as well (4-3-4-10) - so I lost.

I'm 95% sure Intercasino Pontoon doesn't do this, even though it's the 'same' software.

Does anyone know which is correct?

Because the correct strategy is to double on soft 21 if you can, otherwise stand with 3 cards and hit with 4 cards, see

At the beginning of this month I played pontoon at

Intercasino
Omni
Sands of the Carribean
TotalBet
Littlewoods

The game was working fine (no auto-stand) at all of these casinos.

It's possible that this was never corrected at William Hill.

You should be able to buy a 5th card to make a guaranteed five-card-trick, which pays out at 2/1 - so you would end up winning 4 times as much money as with the 21.

bpb's post above confirms my suspicion - although all those casino's are all Crypto's, the software package does not play the same. So this could mean (just for example ) that Intercasino's Blackjack is rigged, whereas William Hills is not.....

I had this same problem after I reinstalled Intercasino from a CD, fortunately, the auto-stand on soft 21 worked in my favour, I would have lost otherwise. The casino upgraded automatically after I logged out and pontoon worked correctly.

I tried to see if WH has the problem, but I busted out so quickly this month that I did not get a single soft 21. (I lost 25 units in 34 hands. Ouch!)
