Is This the Most Jaw-Dropping Story of All Time?!

Do you like meeting new people when you're in a casino, or you're more like a solo player? I personally prefer speaking to locals, as they have a bunch of interesting theories and stories. I remember someone telling me about a man who took around $7 million from the casino and the mob. So, I decided to dig in a bit and make a story. Oh, yes, I forgot to mention I've been a big fan of JCS ever since the "What pretending to be crazy look like." So, I decided to make my own story. Only this one is about my favorite pastime - casinos.

Let me be clear about one thing - the purpose of this story is not to promote any casino/game/bonus. I entice you all to take a look at the video and let me know if you like it. I encourage you to share advice and/or critiques so that I can improve my content.

If you have some crazy casino stories, feel free to share them, and I'll try to make a video about them. Anyway, here's the video. Hope you like it.

I'd drop the robotic text to reader voice. A lot of the words are mispronounced like "mafia" and it sounds stilted. :D

Surprised youtube hasn't flagged all of the copyrighted third party content. Good luck with that :D

Oh, that robotic voice is a cheap substitute for my terrible accent (you can look it up in my previous videos, it's genuinely terrifying) :)
But I think you're right, will try with my own voice in the next video.

I hope YT won't mind the third party content. I even put it in the description. My "problem" is that I try to create something, let's say, interesting, with very limited resources.

I’ve got to say that YT videos with stock images/video and computer generated voices are not very compelling to watch. If you don’t have enough (or any relevant) video footage then you are best to blog this story instead. Not a subject that I’m interested in though.

I completely agree with the voice part. However, it is challenging to record an authentic video about this particular subject.
"Not a subject that I’m interested in though" - Respect, thanks for taking the time to share your opinion!

There are companies online where you can hire people to do voice overs. It's actually pretty cheap. Not as cheap as a robot though :D

I actually tried that once through one freelance platform. It turned out I got an Indian voiceover, which was not quite what I expected. As a result, I have huge trust issues. I guess I could ask someone I know who has a better accent than me to do the voiceover.

Just for an example - 1000 words with this guy is £60

I didn't figure a word count for your vid - but I'm sure you catch my drift. :D

I'm sure the people at fiverr are vetted. At least as far as I can tell.

As for using copyrighted or trademarked images, films, etc, that's an easy way for your vids to get flagged and/or removed. If you are really into this, I would suggest for you to check out

- they have thousands of documentaries, films, television shows etc., all in the public domain. So those are free to use.

OMG, thank you! This is really helpful.

Hey all!

I've made a YT Short version of the story. I didn't use as much "borrowed" material as in the previous one. Also, I dropped the robot voice and decided to use my Russian-villain-from-Schwarzenegger-movies voice (yes, this is me, nice to meet you all).

What do you think now? Feel free to be harsh again. I stopped crying after the previous one.

You should create more of these shorts, they’ll hit the shorts algorithm sooner or later
