Can they do this?

This has happened to me twice now at the same casino within a 2 week period.
Was playing the video reels hit big then i get cut off from the game and cannot rejoin, the first time on march 29th I talked to there customer service and they said maybe the server to that game went down? I phoned later that day and another guy said they shut me out of those games cause i won over $10,000.00
Just wondering if they have the right to disconnect a player when they start to win? I have emails to the casino customer service right now waiting for a reply from them ,so i will not say which casino at this point.

sry for posting this in a few places just not sure where it should go

I had same problem with a casino,too.
Then they said sorry, there was a problem.
I continue to play and lost all of them because of a software error.
Then I immediately blacklisted them.
If they do it to player who wons 10,000$ once a day,it makes 300,000$ in a month and I think they dont want to pay this. But they continue to pay 98% of players so they continue to have new players.
It is a tactic of some casinos, some bad casinos.

Ok the casino is Intercasino the game is Emerald Isle, the first time i hit it was on march 29th and then again early this morning, even the customer service rep I talked to this morning questioned why it would happen,he then went to ask his superior and came back and told me it was because i won big, well looking over there site they have no policy stating this could happen so in my eyes somthing is amiss here and i hope that they will step up and right this wrong. I am still waiting to here from them as i did file a complaint so,was kind of hoping to here back by now but i am sure they are looking into it.

Since everyone seems to like comparing online casinos to B&M ones, what's the difference between this online casino doing this and a B&M casino switching dealers, cutting a shoe off early and forcing a reshuffle ... or, in the extreme, just telling a winning player that s/he is not welcome at their casino?

As long as they pay you, move on to the next one.

I'm pretty sure they have a right to ban anyone they want to, restrict access to games, etc (unless you were in the middle of clearing a bonus or something and they decided to cut you off from a low house advantage game like blackjack).

You have a right to take your business elsewhere.

If it is a recommended casino here, then we need to have a look. The Pitch-A-Bitch is currently offline, so if you would like me to take a look PM me the details.

Sry about the extra 2 post's SpearMaster,i did try to pm you but you must be a busy guy as your mailbox is full.
I really just want to find out if this was right for them to diconnect me from the game when it was starting to pay,I have been a very loyal customer to them(as in depositing my fair share of money)they even kept my last bet of $100.00 for my last spin as they shut the game off. They do have a policy about being disconnected and what will happen,I would like them to live up to that policy so we will see what happens.

I've hit some nice four figure sums at Intercasino and carried on/cashed out no messing... Including a staggeringly surprising £8000 hit on that Egyptian one, from a crazy "eyes closed and hope for the best" £20 spin. :D

That = about $15,000 and no worries in one go.

Something not quite right here...

More like a lazy guy... I only delete when the box gets full, and I didn't get any warnings :( Anyhow, cleaning done, so feel free to PM me if necessary.

I think we will have to establish what the difference between "disconnect" (as in the middle of a spin) or "forbid play" (no further play allowed).

If your play is forbidden from here on in, that is the right of the casino. If, however, you were in the middle of a spin and got disconnected, then they should be obliged to follow the policy you say they claim to have, provided that this policy is stated somewhere in the terms and conditions and is not a "verbal" policy.

If your $100 was taken without you actually receiving a result, this would in my opinion be a problem for which I would suggest they refund the bet.

Me thinks the casino suspects that you've found a way to manipulate the software but can't prove it, so they're not gonna take anymore chances letting you take more money from them. Why else would a slot-player be banned???? Actually, this is quite interesting! I hope Ryan Hartley will jump in and shed some light on this issue.

Unreal.

No not banned,i was still able to play all games on the site except the multi 20 line slots not just the one i won on but all of them,i am not smart enough to cheat, the service customer rep sent me a email this morning saying i exceeded the payoff limit? This is a casino right guess you are not supposed to win there, oh this was also in the email he has requested that my payoff limit be increased ? Payoff limit why do i have a limit, guess it was ok for me to wager enough so far this month to gain over 1,300.00 comp points but i can only win so much cause they set a limit for me? My bad i did say i did not see where they could disconnect me from the game after i had just hit the spin button, but after searching high and low i found this.Check out section 5.5 and section 5.6,last thing i ever thought when i joined up was that i should hire a lawyer to read over this aggreement, so i knew that if i was to start winning the casino had the right to shut off the game on me,how come when i am losing a couple g notes they dont shut the game of then?By the way on my log file for my session at the time of termination it says this *GAME INTERRUPTED* Game state has been saved on the server, the game will resume when you re-connect.Well it never resumed, and i still as of now cannot join the 20 line slots when i try to join them they say, game is currently not avalible.

Nothing in those terms relates to the routine operation of a payoff limit. It all seems about exceptional circumstances and/or cheating.
There has been a case of this in Blackjack, where 4 consecutive wins at max bet triggers the cut-off, but I cannot see the logic of this in slots, where a big win will happen with a modest bet on occasion. I see many tales in winner lists at casinos of some lucky player hitting big twice (or even more), but it seems not to be OK to do this at Intercasino.
It seems not worth betting big here due to this, better to bet small and often, and this should not happen.
It is morally corrupt to limit winning payoffs for "player safety", while not limiting players who have a long "unnatural" losing run. This also distorts the game variance as the cap is one-way, a big loss can not be balanced by a big payoff series in a high variance game due to the cut-off.

If they want people to play mainly/only for the monthly bonus and tournaments then they are going the right way about it!

I agree, i have lost more then my fair share at Inter.I play at a few other casino's and they can't understand why Inter would do this,i guess every one has there own way of doing things, and it seems Inter's might be setting limits on there machines.I would hope that is not the case, while i have received a couple of emails back from them, they still have not answered my question what did i hit on the last spin to warrant the game locking up? Remember this has happened twice now.

Ok guys, let's not speculate too much about happened. Intercasino does have flags on every game where a big win will trigger a block from that account - if you all recall Intercasino had a problem a few years back with a malfunction which cost them over a million bucks.

They paid out every cent. But now their software has flags to prevent a reoccurrence.

I wouldn't read too much into this - just wait for Intercasino to respond and I'm reasonably sure you'll be happy with the result.

You are right Spear, they have not answered me yet so who know's what will happened.
After reading some of the stories on here.....at least they are looking into it so there customer service is top rate.

WindowPain, there's very rarely anything negative posted about Intercasino at this forum that isn't quickly squashed by its loyal following which number quite a few among this crowd, so don't be surprised if you don't get too many favorable responses to your issue at hand. I find it very interesting that one would be banned from playing a slot machine given the fact that they require no skill or decision making from the user. Just press the Spin button and away you go. What's the difference if you press spin or I press spin? I am allowed to do it but you are not? The odds are already set in place. The casino cannot lose on slots. Either someone is overly supersticious at the casino, and believes that you have some kind of "Midas Touch" on the slots, or they think that you're cheating... but if they thought you were cheating you would have been booted already. So which is it? Also, you were allowed to play after your first two large wins until it locked up during a certain spin which could have very likely been another jackpot hit because one has to wonder why the block would step in and shut you down at that precise moment. Why didn't they stop you in between spins? Or before your session started? Or any other time except DURING play? Why is Intercasino being silent on this thread?

I really enjoy Intercasinos CS and they always have been very responsive.

I too had my account locked for putting in the wrong acct #/password 3 times..and had to re-install the casino and re register it to get it back up and running. Could this have been your problem? Sometimes it gets locked by our own doing is my thoughts.
