is it me or is MG starting to play like RTG or playtech.

for example i have always found the 3card poker, 50% of the time you have a str8 flush you will get beat, or pai gow seeing the amout of times the dealer has a royal flush while have a pair of aces to spare is takig the pi$$

and for the BJ, well the less said about it the better.

so has MG finally woken up to something that playech & RTG knew a long time ago ? i.e. the gateway to larger profits is to fleece your punters.

thats bs

i have wagered about more than 200.000$ per 10$ or 15$ per hand not a single hand i lost with straght flush are you kidding me

Hmmm,

I was having similar thoughts yesterday, when I was playing BJ yesterday (MG casino). I had built up my bankroll to $480 alternating between BJ, Thunderstruck, and Tombraider. The next day (yesterday), I played low bets of $2 (multihand... just 2 hands at the most), and I got hammered for $300 in a matter of an hour and some minutes. I know that it happens, but, it's how I was getting beat yesterday. A high percentage of my good hands (when I did get them) were pushes or being beat. I went through a streak of 10 hands, wherein the dealer had 7 21's off of bust cards!!! :eek2: Also very telling, and to know when to run, is the amount of times that dealer will:

a) Be showing a face card or an ace, while the player is sitting on a 12
b) Show bust cards (especially 4-6), and keep coming up with winning combinations
c) When the dealer shows an ace, pulls a 4, and then a face card, and then a 6 (this happened WAY too many times yesterday... ditto on the 6-7-8 combination)
d) Doubling-up results in far too many A-2-3's coming up
e) The player can't win with 20's or put back-to-back wins (on increased bets)

If these things happen for a good stretch of $80-100, pull-out and stay away... FAR AWAY!!!

Amazing. If the dealer only had a couple runs like that, then that's fine. But that sort of thing was going on for the majority of the session. You know you're not going to win when the dealer KEEPS doing that. A very demoralizing session, especially since I was playing it by the book, on low wagers. I've never gone down by more than $200 in my 4 years of playing online BJ, of course, on minimum bets that is ($1-2).

I agree.
I have always found MG card games a real struggle, which is why 95% of my MG play is now slots only.

I haven't played much blackjack, but their PaiGow is one of the most obviously skewed games on the net!
Also their Stud Poker pay-table is a joke. Only even money for 2-pairs??
What a rip-off!! :(

Hi KK, same goes here... well, until yesterday. But for the past two months, I've really enjoyed playing Tombraider, Thunderstruck, and at one time, Aztec Treasure over at RTG. Two years ago, I never thought I'd say this, but for me (and I'm sure many will not agree) slots has shown the most light at the end of the tunnel. I will certainly say that slots are THE most fun to play, although I really used to love BJ and for a good while VP (JorB), but they can REALLY be boring at times. So in the end, I have the most fun with MG casino's playing slots, and I make sure that I bounce from game to game (eg. Tombraider, to Spring Break, to Thunderstruck).

But, from my personal experience, BJ seems to get worse and worse across the board.

I know some are very fond of InterCasino BJ, but I'm still licking my wounds from months ago on that one.

Global Player, ouch, have those wounds sitting next to my InterCasino wounds. My first deposit there, did EXTREMELY great, withdrew some cash, and that was the end of that. All the deposits that were made following that closely resembled InterCasino.

Heard some good things about Harrods, wish I wasn't listening that day.

Hear the worse things about RTG BJ, but I can't agree on that one. I don't care for RTG either, but their BJ has "seemed" to play out fair with me. Same with PlayTech. Not a bad game of BJ, historically great to me, but I think that PlayTech BJ over time has become more like MG BJ, rather than the other way around. After almost 5 years of online gambling, I've never seen a looser game of BJ, than I had at PlayTech back in '01-03.

In the end, if I had won $500 on the condition that I had to playthrough XX times at any online BJ, I'd reluctantly go with Casino-On-Net.

MG card games lag in design/fun

I'd just like to add that beyond the odds and comments made to that effect, I've always been surprised by the fact that MG card games tend not to be fun, which is always an important factor in my book (obviously behind fairness).Surprised given their edge in design on every other area.

I'm mainly a slots player -so I usually frequent MG properties- but given the inclination to play card games I've tended to prefer some of the better Playtechs (and I'm going to close my ears now to the massive howls of indignation).
They seem more fun and I've had better runs.
That's just my two cents.

I also think MG fixed their games recently (about 2 months ago). Their BJ now seems worse than any other and their roulette is ridiculous. I bet many times on black/red and always (always!!!) lost in 1/2 proportion. Ican't believe my eyes when i see that- it is so obviously rigged now.

Do yourself a favor and stop gambling.

I probably will. And i want that the other people will stop gambling at MG websites too if only they don't want to be cheated.

anyone notice this?

Since King Cashalot payed off a few days ago microgaming casinos seem to be pretty tight? Is it just me or do others notice that?I hit a good one on the 10th for 8K but its been nada since then.Is microgaming one big server that all the casinos tie into?Earlier this week I played at an MG and it got real slow dealing cards, losing the connection etc.So i went to a couple other MG's with a different operator and they were the same way. Later in the day they were back to normal speed and wouldnt pay sh*t.Kind of like they were tightening up the software. Do they have the capability to do this? With their "random number generator" haha. The one that can deal 10 or 15 hands in a row without a win and then you get three of a kind and double up. the dealer pulls a three and you get a two. That "random number generator".

Guess it depends on what you're playing... I was playing slots at Phoenecian the other day, and increased my $100 "sticky" bonus by 400% in a handful of spins at the maximum bet of $9.00. I felt that the random number generator was very generous.

Hi, i agree, too (BJ)
mg "random generator" deals usually in every session/visit 7-15 !! hands w/p for the casinos in a row several times , doesnt matter what mg casino...
too much complaints and bad results for doubling up games...
too much 21s for mg casinos, dealing himself 4,5,6 cards until 21 , if you have 20 ... and so on ....

try it , how many times you will win only 2,3,4 games ongoing in BJ in mg casinos ?? ....
the more you play, the winning series/rows for mg casinos "random" will be confirmed...

hehe..., thats amusing, much mg casinos are in accredited casino list, , so many complaints about "rigged, fixed" software from much players , but no comments from the responsible persons...

my advise to the complaining players before: play the rtg bj (at : inetbet, break away) , i am sure, its absolutely fair, esspecially on the long run...

greetings
