Yesterday i got a mail from an accredited casino with a deposit freespin offer. I took the option to deposit 60,- to get 150 freespins on a new game. The slot has a minimum of 20 cent, so i took it as a 50% deposit bonus.
When i opened the game today i saw that i was only 10 lines of a 20 lines slot.
I asked in chat and the operator regrets that the - for me unusual condidions for a netent casino - were not meant in the mail.
But as a compensation he gave me a bonus that covered the missing value.
So a good solution for me, but how many players will be angry about this deceptive offer, don´t contact the support and will never deposit at this casino (as i would have nearly done) ?
It´s new for me that netent freespins don´t cover all lines and this fact is hidden from the customer. Am i too naive ?

Edit: To clear things up: The slot was not a netent, but a play´n go slot, but this doesn´t matter for me in this case.

I have seen this happen before but not really had this issue with Netent casinos personally. They should I suppose state this in the terms as it was attached to a deposit. Seems harsh to give the FS with some of the lines locked out. If it had been just the freespins on there own as a freebie then sure suppose they can do what they want. But with a deposit you should have been made aware of this in the terms and conditions. Good though they compensated you anyway.

I have never won anything apart from 1 time years ago on FS so rare bother with them. My last lot of the dreaded 50 FS on StarShaft gained me a whopping £1.70 or something.

Another case of a bad/stupid promotion. Got a mail from Tivolicasino that i have 10 freespins on easter eggs (again) . While playing i wondered why 2 scatters only payed 2 cents.
The solution: The freespins were of 1 line and 1 coin

I feel mocked by this kind of "promotions". Better sent nothing than this
I don´t think i will again deposit at a casino that treats customers like this

That's odd. my free spins were at 20 lines

Yes I was very surprised to read the OP, especially for Netent as 'our end' only a handful of games can the lines be adjusted (Starburst, DOA etc)

However it is not an uncommon 'trick' certain casinos pull which I've fell foul of a few times over the years.

Microgaming is the most common and Betway group are sods for it, Occasionally they will send a 100% / 100FS offer (usually via post) most times more than half the win lines are removed in the game.

They once sent me a lovely 50FS No deposit on Gold factory, I though hell yeah £25 worth of free spins!!! Until I opened the game and almost fell off my chair, 10 LINES!!! WTF tight so n so's :p

Always worth a visit to chat before taking up offers to check value/lines of FS, I do now every time but only if its a deposit based promo, not if it totally free, after all a freebie is a freebie

Years ago I got 25 free spins on "Street Life" @ 888's Casino-on-net. For being a good customer (ie losing a lot).
If I remember correctly, the minimum line bet is 5p so it was either £1 or £1.25 a spin minimum. I was excited...

Opened the game and only 5 lines were active. What a load of shite

I didn't even play the spins, I uninstalled the casino. Haven't went near 888 since, and now there's even less chance of that since joining Casinomeister.
