I have decided its just not worth being a VIP at some of these casinos, recieved an email from Jackpot Capital today, talk about making someone feel guilty, im now at gold, i have been dropped from the next higher tier and at 3 Dice i have gone from gold as of the last month or so, to hell prolly chrome by now:D

Is it the extra deposits they want from it, are they doing us the players a favor or is it the other way around?...............laurie..........ps........these are still 2 of my favorite casinos btw:)

You know the saying got to keep up with the Joneses. Wanna play ya gotta pay. I am sorry you got demoted. But these casino's want high rollers not us lowly low rollers. Stick with 3 dice. :D

So true, this is just another way of phasing out a low roller.

    Ohhh too true

Hi I also thought this at xmas, and due to the lousy bonuses given by some casinos that I was supposidly a vip at i have now changed where I am taking my money this year.

Go wild casino gave there"vips" a lousy 15 free spins...i have deposited here reguarly and only withdrawn once, now I am taking my money to other places that gave me a little and more and at some of these I dont even rate it as a V>I>P!!!!!

Does make you wonder doesnt it!!!

I too am a low roller too, laurie and Veggie. I learned after last year that the more I vested the less returned! 2008 was a better gambling yr, 2009 started good and ended with a lot of the usual xmas bonus pull outs. I play 3dice too and its a fun site as well. I wouldnt even know how to get Gold!!! LOL!:lolsign:

But doesn't their "VIP" program require you to deposit an average of $50+ a week to move up to the higher tiers?

And are they still reviewing accounts every week or two to see who gets demoted?

As far as low-rollers go, I don't think a 5% bonus for the lowest level is good...............

And on that note that is all I am going to spend. The most I do spend is $100 and that is every other week maybe more depending on how I am feeling. But after last year my VIP level will drop soon enough.

I think alot of the casinos factor in bonuses and free comps ect, i still dont understand that one.

I will say 3 Dice and Inetbet and Club world are among the best on comps but from what i have gathered this(bonuses) can also mess with your VIP status at the ones that offer those tier programs, maybe someone else knows exactly how that works as i sure dont............laurie

VIP = RIP. Better keeping most of your dough in your pocket instead of depositing. We are not out of the woods as far as the economy is concerned.

I'm still a GOLD member at Roxy Palace after I went banana's there more than a year ago (deposited almost 2K in a week time without a withdrawl).
All it ever brought me is a weekly 30% match bonus..
Oh, and I got 10 twice in their Expanded Slots Competition.
Only found out because of the Emails, never even noticed it beeing added to my balance, lol.

Some Rivals have very strange ideas when it comes to beeing a VIP.
I remember Irish Luck, where I got the VIP level resulting in the lovely:
    NO PROMOTIONS AVAILABLE.
Never cashed out a penny there..
Needless to say they went into the recycle bin!:p

Sloto'cash takes care of VIP's more than other Rivals IMO. In fact Sloto is the only Rival that I deposit at unless I find an unusually good bonus.

For jackpot capital it all varies on how much you have for playthrough. Here's the breakdown of what I understand of it.

There VIP program is based on VIP Points point are accumulated based on a 90 day rotating period. (In other words in order to keep your status you better have some decent play through or deposited some cash to keep your status.)

So for a non VIP I would assume for every $10 you wager it counts as one VIP Point. Once you've wagered $15,000 (1,500 points) they'll give you Silver VIP.
Then once your silver it only takes $9.50 for each point earned.
Once you played another $33,250 (5,000 points) through they'll give you Gold.
Then the point accumulate $9 per point earned at the gold level.
Once you played another $67,500 through (earned 12,500 points) they'll give you Diamond.
Then the points accumulate at $8 per point earned at the diamond level.
Then once you've played another $140,000 (earned 30,000 points) they'll give you platinum.
Then at this point it only costs you $7 for one point.
For each level earned upon entry for the first time they'll give you a free bonus coupon.
    Silver is $50
    Gold is $100
    Diamond is $200
    Platinum is $400
So in other words there program is based on how much money you can pump through there games in a short period of time. If your a slot player this could be rather detrimental. If you play any other game it might not be so bad.
So that's the breakdown of how I read the VIP Program there.

I think it varies quite a bit from casino to casino how much better your benefits are.

If you enjoy 3Dice's tournaments, to deposit or play enough to be even the lowest tier of Bronze allows you to play the VIP tourneys.

32Red's Club Rouge offers an enhanced match bonus monthly, and all games count towards playthough, which is quite a benefit. And you earn more comp points for each dollar wagered on slots as well.

I understand that Jackpot Factory's VIPLounge offers superior offers to it's players as well.

I think that it can be helpful to do most of your play for one platform at one casino, depending on the loyalty program.

But I don't think it is beneficial to dig deeper into your pockets than you would otherwise to maintain certain status in any casino. If you are having a good run somewhere, and keep playing, or playing at higher stakes because you are ahead and enjoying yourself, enjoy whatever benefits it might bring. But don't go chasing loyalty tiers IMO.

Most casinos, including land-based, levels are based more on PLAY and less on deposits.
