Okay so I've read the long threads about people unhappy with Slotland because their game descriptions are misleading as far as the video poker machines are concerened. BUT, my question is, is there anyone HAPPY with slotland? Any good experiences? Anyone like the slots and their proprietory software? Or is the general concencus to stay away? I'm debating whether to put it on my affiliate site or not. Thanks for your imput,
Heather

I like Slotland. I like their affiliate program, I like their games, and I like their customer service and affiliate managers. I even like their commission structure. The trick in promoting them as an affiliate is positioning their product. Sophisticated techie-types will likely not enjoy Slotland, but MSN TV and Web TV users generally like Slotland pretty well.

From the perspective of an affiliate, Slotland is probably the only program I know of that has such a sterling reputation for honesty too.

You betcha - they pay 25% of deposits. This is one casino/affiliate blood-sucker.

I'm delighted to see their absence from the reputable section at Casinomeister - possibly (just guessing here) for contravention of the "they must have a clean history of fairness towards their customers" rule? Those game decriptions were an absolute CON JOB on the players, and it took a virtual earthquake to persuade them to make some amendments a while back. Big kudos to Bryan for shifting them out. Plus, I don't recall even seeing any banners for them for ages. If that means they're no longer even being promoted here, that's excellent - and it's a move on Bryan's part which deserves acknowledgement from the players.

Hi, I'm a new handle here, but used to post a lot on bet2gamble as "Seeker", before it went off the boil over there.

Anyway, yeah, what was the problem with the game descriptions at Slotland? I was thinking of promoting them, but suddenly feel doubtful.

My own experience of SL is that it's impossible to assess whether the games are"fair", but because the playthrough requirements are so low, you are unlikely to loose much, & on balance you will probably win more than loose.( As long as you ain't tempted to keep playing after you've completed the WR).
